I'm guessing the super-acidic droplets hurt you if you touch them. What happens when you're on a block that's melting? (I'm guessing they only started dripping not too long ago.)
I'm not willing to swear to it, but I'm pretty sure that they must hurt you...otherwise why have I avoided them for so long? I mean, they melt stone away, it wouldn't make sense for them to leave a person unscathed. Now I'm going to wonder.
If you're on a block that's melting, after a certain frame, you'll fall through and it will finish up melting around you for that extra fraction of a second.
That's a good point...if I can sit there and just watch it melt, why hadn't it melted away already?
