I reside in Salisbury after 2007 there will be no more smokeout--city council ruled it out they said their old and we (I worked there) had too much fun

Yeah, I think the city council shot themselves in the foot with that decision. Yeah, granted, we get a little crazy at the smokeout, but it is only for 3 days. I think the amount of money brought in by us would be a plus, but I guess the city council had enough. Oh well, on to Winston-Salem this year!

Please tell me, whats the point? I see none, I see people feeling like heroes every time they make the slightest burnout and somebody watches, even jackasses on mopeds thinking their doing a burnout even though its not on asphalt. I'm the type that renovates the old, and feels passionate about preserving, apposed to the physical destruction of the tire and engine, just to get a few kicks, or what these people would refer to as kicks.

The point is that it is a major party and he's having fun. Everyone at the Smokeout is into burnouts and getting crazy. Pat just takes it to another level. You don't see him doing this on an old knuck or pan. This is his bike.. he built it and if he wants to blow apart his shit he can. Ledsled is ALL about the party, and that's what this is: a party!

Every single time theres a biker gettogether here, I go to it, and every single time theres tons of burnouts, many of these destroy their bikes.
