  • A butthurt conservadouche flagged this video...

  • KevinVang1000 has been blocked for homophobic comments.

  • One more thing...does this mean that atheistic always lose to a theistic person? WOW! EPIC FAILED! LMAO!

I like when you use the goldfish to bite off a cat's tail. AWESOME!

  • @KevinVang1000 You are so stupid.

  • On 4:49...about witnesses, does that mean that the court of America doesn't rely on witnesses?

I don't get it...you lost me. If USA hold the account of a criminal and they need evidence to attack him with witnesses, are they reliable? Hey, they could be liars you know...

  • @KevinVang1000 Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable. Literally hundreds of people have been released from death row, most of whom were put there on eyewitness testimony, when other evidence showed they were innocent.

  • @shanedk Better that a hundred guilty men go free than one innocent be wrongly condemned.

  • @Claymore729 Absolutely!

  • @Claymore729

    Word.

  • @shanedk the witnesses were willing to be killed for what they had said (martyred)

  • @MamaMario13 1) You have ZERO evidence for that, and 2) LOTS of "witnesses" have been willing to die to uphold their lies throughout history. This is just the "They wouldn't die for a lie" crap--LONG debunked.

  • @shanedk I dont believe it either I am sunni muslim but I am just saying that that is the christian argument

  • Your voice is like... Really high, dude.

  • The other enourmous problem with the ontological argument is that even if you accept their premises, meaning that "god" is the greatest thing in the universe and exists, they cannot use anything from that argument to bootstrap either that "god" is necessarily the creator of the universe, or the Christian god (even if we let them slide on the "creator" part). So they have to assume things that they cannot logically prove.

  • A bunch of narrow-minded bumpkins wrote that crap on Conservapedia. What else did you expect?

  • Refuting Conservapedia is a child's game, it's so easy.

  • Let's not forget conservapedia's claim that evolution is just godless, intellectual, liberal propaganda. Kinda funny that anything associated with "higher learning" is part of a horrible conspiracy while everything you learn in sunday school before you even have your adult teeth is all there is to know and all that is "pure".

  • Wookieepedia is a far more trustworthy source of information. I'd get more information out of a Star Wars fan's view of religion than what I'd get out of Conservapedia.

  • You rock, Shane! :)

  • So not only are these people writing such lousy arguments, but they can't handle a valid refutation and resort to a false-flagging of this video.

Rather pathetic if I say so, myself.

  • Awesome job refuting, man. Creationists just got owned. I just stumbled on Conservapedia this morning, and I have to say that I am so very sad that I did. People like this are holding back mankind from being some much more than irrational, bigoted idiots. I certainly hope the distant future is much brighter than our current world.

  • why is this flagged?

  • because big brother is watching you...

  • Because the people that disagrees with the clip have nothing better to counter it with. Which only serves to show how flawed thier arguments are.

  • Why was this flagged? Damn ammoral creationist ( shakes fiist in air)

  • Ill repost this on my channel.

  • I mostly blame Youtube for their policy of allowing this kind of censorship to happen with no means of appeal. Guilty until proven innocent, but they won't let you prove it.

  • God damn creationists have flagged this. Fucking Hell!

  • Why has this been flagged?

I see no sex or violence!

  • The reason will rape your MIND!

  • that cat with the shoes just kills me, it's like one of those george carlin little similarities jokes, i thought only my cats did that :P

  • this was flagged why?

  • Because creationists are lying cowards.

  • Hrm, maybe its time we complained? i mean if youtube looks at this video they will see there's nothing adult about it.

  • Complain, how? I've never been able to successfully send a message to them!

The customer support here is nonexistent.

Anyway, I uploaded an HD version awhile back, and it hasn't been flagged (yet). You can always link people to that one.

  • Well didn't Tfoot recently do something epic that got their attention?

  • Oh yes, but I doubt that would work here.

  • donexodus2's video 'questions for people who dont accept evolution' was flagged, but he managed to get it unflagged.

you might want to drop him a message asking for how he went about doing that.

  • Thanks!

  • 2:46

ok I will repent and believe in the "existing flying spaghetti monster"

it's definiton tells us it's there

  • Wow....disgusting....keep it up Shane!

  • this video may contain material that is offensive to viewers with an IQ of 95 or less.

  • youtube really should grow a pair and stop restricting videos because they offend people. does it offend you? stop watching it! there was nothing inappropriate in this video and the fact that it's flagged is really evidence of how desperate some people are to limit the free speech of others.

  • This should NOT be tagged. where do we protest?

  • I've given up trying to find out. I've been redoing a lot of my older videos in HD, and I just uploaded the HD version of this one, so point everyone to the new video. Hopefully it won't get tagged.

  • Why isn't this suitable minors?

  • Because creationists are lying pigs and kept tagging it.

I've uploaded an HD version; hopefully that one won't get tagged, too.

  • They flagged the video so that fewer people can see it ... as thunderfoot calls them... "spineless vermin".

  • Someone's flagged this video!

Those Christians will stop at nothing.

  • Why the heck was this blocked? I could understand if there was nudity or sex. But all this is, is a a logical arugment against conservapeida. I know that creationists just love the censer the turth but shouldn't YouTube prevent abuses like this?

  • To the "conservative" fucktard who flagged this, while likely supporting a site that claims to be "against censorship"

Fuck you up the ass with a big black Islamic cock.

  • It's kind of hard to believe that Conservapedia is not just some kind of joke. I mean, come on, how can you be that transparent? Even their name is essentially an admission of bias. Who the hell does that, and expects people to actually believe that they are neutral?

  • "This video may not be suitable for minors."

    Umm...why?

  • Because it has a hot babe in the middle, so the thumbnail picture is a hot babe. If that's not suitable for kids, I guess parents better not ever take their kids to the beach or the pool, because they might see a hot babe in a bikini.

  • I uploaded it to my channel with a different thumbnail and there's been no problem at all.

  • How many views does it have? It took over 8,000 views for this one to get tagged.

  • Oh. Well, give it time.

  • To someone brainwashed by conservative language and talking points, reality would seem to have a liberal bias. This kind of thing should alarm people.

  • MaximusArurealius has been blocked after more than three warnings.

Why can't creationists behave? Why do they have to be such scumbags?

  • "MaximusArurealius has been blocked ..."

I saw. What took you so long?

Max apologized to me by PM but managed to shift the blame to me for what he said.

I think creationists feel deeply threatened by reality. One I knew in real life believed that if he questioned his faith he'd go to Hell. Since he was taught creationism in Bible school he'd come to believe if you believe in evolution, you can't believe in God and Jesus. Last seen he'd retreated into Harun Yahya's fossil museum.

  • The page gets blocked entirely by a nannying school computer, but clicking on the link in the PM brought me right here without any stupid questions about my age (if they only knew!). Strange.

I guess my morals have now been hopelessly corupted by the girl in the bikini.

Is there any way to protest the unfair flagging?

  • Stupid conservatives.

  • ShameDumK, you didn't refute shit.

  • Exactly what in the video is unsuitable for minors?

  • In the mind of a creationist, anything that threatens their delusions.

  • Whew! I thought I'd missed the naughty bits.

  • I think the picture 3:33 was spotted by conservatives and flagged.

  • Agreed, but I think some of them just spotted the thumbnail and flagged it without bothering to watch.

I just watched a vid promoting gang violence and it doen't have a mass flagging. Girls in bikinis are much more dangerous, I guess.

  • I got into a discussion with a guy who informed that because the bible mentions places that actually exists then it is all true.

The counter argument is that any story that mentions real cities or countries must also be true if we apply the same logic.

  • "because the bible mentions places that actually exists then it is all true."

Did he mention Jerico was abandoned when Joshua supposedly conquered it?

  • He failed to mention any specific places, or their history.

  • 'He failed to mention any specific places, or their history. "

Of course. It's the old "The Bible has been proven true over and over" routine, but no one seems to know in what way.

"Ah ha! The Temple of Jerusalem WAS destroyed."

    And so on.........

  • Like VFX's bible prophesies, sufficiently vague and ambiguous to be used as 'proof' of Jesus miracles.

  • "sufficiently vague and ambiguous to be used as 'proof' of Jesus miracles. "

Take away the miracles and you have a rabbi.

My favorite "prophecy" is the one about Emanuel. It has nothing whatsoever to do with Jesus, but we got a nice Christmas/pagan holiday song out of it.

  • I remember someone talking about Jesus' existence, either he did or he didn't.

If he did then he was merely a good man whose followers embellished all the stories about him.

This was a mistake as instead of listening to what he tried to say we now all merely question his existence.

I don't know this Emanuel prophecy.

  • Should have two "m's". Sorry. AKA "Immanuel".

    theskepticalreview . com/tsrmag/2virgi93 . html

  • In other words they took a pre-existing vague prophesy and made it even more vague and claimed Jesus fulfilled it?

    That's not dishonest at all.

  • "That's not dishonest at all. "

Of course not. Can't go calling St. Matthew (or whoever wrote the gospel) a liar now, can we?

  • Someone might take offence and we wouldn't want that, would we?

  • Naw, we're offensive enough already.

Free exercise means not criticizing or questioning religion - says so in the fine print.

  • Would this fine print be hidden somewhere in the holy book, where us non-believers don't get a chance to see it?

  • "Would this fine print be hidden...."

It's in the 1st Ammendment in invisible ink - but it's NOT in Jefferson's hand.

  • Living outside the US I haven't had much opportunity to study it.

  • Most people living inside the US haven't studied it either, IMO.

  • What a pity.

  • Nice video man!!! While it might be the case that some conservatives are smart, I have yet to meet one :D

  • I know a few, thankfully they're not all creationsists.

  • *creationists

  • did the bigfoot scene's hosts in any way inspire your series? :)

  • Conservapaedia makes my brain want to vomit.

  • Seriously, Conservapedia?

This would actually be funny if it wasn't so sad..

    Nice video, though.

  • That article rocks - it is truth. I am praying it helps you.

  • you care way to much...

  • I laughed. Good job. Favorited.

  • The 'Gone with the Wind' analogy was very funny. Good job.

  • The atheism article is expected... but CONSERVAPEDIA?

You know I used to think that one of the main reason's the neo-con movement would die is because of the internet; eventually it would take over the news networks that act like Clemson Carolina rival's instead of reliable news sources (Fox vrs. MSNBC). But it looks like even with all of that information at peoples finger tips, they are still ready to go into straight denial. I guess its more intolerance to ambiguity then backed beliefs.

  • Have you thought about making other videos refuting some of the other ridiculous articles on conservapedia?

  • No, but I'm about to begin a 6-part series about a stupid article on "Creation on the Web" called, "Is Evolution Scientific?"

  • Terrific video. You were actually too soft on the archaeological "evidence" for the Bible's events. A great deal of the Bible has been falsified by archaeology--see Hitchens' God is not Great.

  • That would be possible if I were to dedicate a whole video to the subject. As it was, I had to go for the quick rebuttal.

  • who's the fucking cunt that flagged this video?

  • this video was flagged?

  • well, I was going to comment on the inappropriate flagging of this video but I see it's been done already. How nice to have independant sources converging on a verdict.

  • «This video may not be suitable for minors.»

    Why?

  • Because creationists are lying cowards.

  • Oh, conservapedia locks their pages and bans more users than almost any other website, including creationist ones, because they do not vette their pages properly. They tried to use "wikipedia" as a tie in and were slammed so hard they must have vibrated for weeks. They redefine words more than Hovind and Ham combined and are close to being sued for libel in a few cases.

  • They tried to adult rate this video because of one woman in a bathing suit? WTF?!? I wish there were a way to "rate" the folks who rate videos :P

  • OMG Fucking flagging campaigns...

  • I may be incorrect, but I am sure that the big bang theory applies only to the known universe, and is not a definite indication of the beginning of "everything".

It is entirely possible that there have been several (or an infinite number of) "big bangs", which opens up the idea of infinite as a reality. Just my 2 cents.

  • That aside, good video! I find it highly amusing that they would go out of way to promote dishonesty and mis-information.

  • Yes, if there are other universes, they would have been the product of different events, not our universe's Big Bang (except for certain theories which allow our Big Bang to be the origin of several universes, but even then there may be other universes still that it wouldn't apply to).

  • I guess one of my biggest issues with the creationist argument is that, to quote Venomfang, "there cannot be an infinite amount of time before now" - which I always thought silly as they set human limitations to that which has no limits, and play semantics with it.

I just think it's impossible at this stage to make a judgement either way. =)

  • Thank God for Atheists, it keeps us talking about Him! If it wasn't for Atheists there may not as much "God talk"! Keep it up Atheists! God bless you all!

Psalm 14:1 The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, They have done abominable work, There is none who does good.

Jesus is returning! Are you ready?

  • "Thank God for Atheists, it keeps us talking about Him! If it wasn't for Atheists there may not as much "God talk"! Keep it up Atheists! God bless you all!"

    You fail reversed psycholgy!

"The fool has said in his heart, There is no God."

And the wise man says it out loud!

  • The Lord Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life!

A challenge...google "evolution hoaxes" and "creation hoaxes" and see how many factual documented ones of each you come up with...or stay deluded.

What about Bible prophecy being fulfilled in our lifetime...VeriChip666, NWO, One World Religion and HAARP to name a few.

God bless you and have a nice day!

  • lol, "end of the world prophecies coming now" have been heard for well over a thousand years. I've already heard these arguments about the end of the world a dozen times, started hearing a whole bunch at about 2000, well, before it. They asserted the world would end back then. lol

Also, by the way, the "evolution hoaxes" were disproved by biologists. Not creationists. Also, you want hoaxes? Try outright lies and deliberate misunderstandings from Kent Hovind.

  • You are truly deluded! Never before has the technology been in use for what the Bible prophecies!

Never mind Kent Hovind, I recommend John Mackay, a Creationist of good repute and as far as I know there is no slander against him at all!

  • "You are truly deluded! Never before has the technology been in use for what the Bible prophecies!"

Nope. Not what I was saying, I was saying people were spreading "the world will end as the Bible says it will" b.s for years.

So, suddenly the "evolution hoaxes" count, but creationists liars and frauds who are exposed don't automatically, and should be ignored? If you're really saying that, then I should say you're projecting by saying I am deluded.

  • "The Lord Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life!"

    No, he isn't.

"google "evolution hoaxes" and "creation hoaxes" and see how many factual documented ones of each you come up with"

Of course you won't find much about creation hoaxes because a) there isn't anything you could fake that would make creation look plausible and b) WE don't lie about supposed hoaxes of the other side!

    "or stay deluded."

No, I leave that to you.

  • "Of course you won't find much about creation hoaxes because a) there isn't anything you could fake that would make creation look plausible and b) WE don't lie about supposed hoaxes of the other side!" You are joking, right?

  • No, dear, it's the harsh truth.

    Well, harsh for you.

  • "it's the harsh truth." How?

  • "How?" What?

  • '"How?" What?' What are you refering to?

  • Excellent video, though I'm not sure why it's flagged.

  • "contain content that is inappropriate for some users"

You don't have to guess too hard who might find this inappropriate and why.

I doubt it has anything to do with the nice young woman at 3:21

  • Just imagine their page on evolutionary theory lol...

  • You don't have to imagine it :) I highly recommend reading it, it's good for a few laughs.

  • It seems they have edited the theory of evolution page at Conservapedia.

The first picture used to be Adolf Hitler and Darwin was seventh or eight.

Not that it's any better now... more comical though.

It's funny how they write about public opinnion as if it had anything to do with validity of scientific theory. Science isn't a democracy and when it is/was/will be it's not science.

  • Their idea is that, public opinions only matter, when THEY are the public. They also don't care about whether or not their arguments hold any validity, they're deluded enough to believe they're always right!

  • True.

  • Conservapedia is evil.

  • Protect the knowledge, and spread the fact...

Learn history, make the future better...

  • One can say nothing of what happened before the big bang. We have absolutely no information about what existed before the singularity. There is no reason whatsoever to say that nothing existed before it, or that it was the beginning of our universe.

  • Not entirely true.

First of all, although you're correct that we have no information from it, there are theories that are supported by observations. The LHC may give us more insight into which of these theories could be correct.

Second, you still have a problem with the "before." Even if, say, Loop Quantum Gravity is true and our Big Bang was formed when another universe collapsed, or M-theory is true and it formed when two membranes collided, it was still the start of OUR time dimension.

  • Nice reply :)

"it was still the start of OUR time dimension"

Based on what evidence exactly? I must have missed something.

Consider what you are saying regarding time. Time starting/stopping. If all time in a universe stops, completely, the is no forward, no change, at all. No evens can "happen". Time must always be in motion.

When you you use the word Dimension, do you mean a space/time dimension, or a universe?

  • Tons of evidence, actually, most recently from the WMAP survey.

Time IS a dimension. JUST like the three space dimensions. It has the same properties, it works with the same equations, it has the same Planck limit, etc. You could, if you wanted, measure time in meters.

  • Yes I am aware of the concept of time as a 4th dimension. I was just wanting to know your definition.

I've been studying time for a while now and I'm very interested to know more about the WMAP survey you mention. Would you mind sending me a link or two?

  • I would think any Google search for WMAP will get you what you need.

  • As for M-thorey.... Where did the membranes come from?

    Sorry that's a silly question I know :)

Either way, the energy from which our universe made from (in M-t) would still have existed before the big bang. So where is the beginning?

OK. Would you say that a simulated BB is a real beginning of a actual universe? Or a universe created from the energy of of the universe around it?

    Am I getting too abstract?

  • It's not a silly question, it's just not ultimately answered by M-theory. Membranes can form from other membranes, but the ultimate cause (if there is one), or whether they go back ad infinitum, isn't covered by the theory.

If you were to create a Big Bang in the lab, it wouldn't take any of the matter or energy of our universe. It would make its own space-time to exist in, and form its own properties.

  • Thank you, Shane! Good work!

  • You gotta love a good flagging campaign.....Why did I have to confirm a b-date?....nothing was wrong with this video.

  • Our current observable universe began at the big bang but it is unknown whether the universe is actually eternal. There are theories such as String Theory and Cyclical Universe Theory that attempt to model such a universe. But the plain fact is that we just dont know....yet.

  • Conservative cock sucking christian imbeciles.

  • This is hardly surprising. "Conservatives" as they represent themselves on that page are often the enemies of free speech. Those people are the architects of bias, ignorance, and opponents of education.

Education is the only tool which can free people from the bonds of ignorance. Since the people governing that website have chosen to limit and castrate such education, they are advocates of ingorance, and the intolerance it often breeds.

  • You are soooooo right!

  • Why do I need to confirm my birth date for this

    video?

  • Because cons/fundies have been performing a flagging campaign...that's why.

  • "The is considerable amount of scientific evidence that suggest that theism is more conducive to mental and physical health than atheism.[65][66] The prestigious Mayo Clinic reported the following on December 11, 2001: "

From the page of the year - They cannot even use good grammar

  • Not even wikipedia is safe from being questioned by the mighty brilliance of the Atheist!

    thank you Shandk

  • Lol, this was flagged. Pussy Christans.

  • They seem to think that reason is smutty.

  • Wow, you got to go on stage with The Banachek? He is really up there as far as magicians go, and Way up there as far as mentalists go.

  • fair and balanced??

  • When they make it so nobody can edit the page, that's basically their demand that this bullshit get preserved, even though it's already been debunked. The fact that they're basically trying to say all of them "are logical arguments against atheism" is just baffling, especially when they argue for all of them on the same bloody page when some could (and do) contradict others.

  • I sent an email to YT informing them about the incorrect flagging of this video. We'll just have to wait and see. I've done it once in the past too, and it actually worked then, so...

  • Is there a way to remove this flag?

  • Why was this video tagged as containing adult content? Was it the bikini girl?

  • Obviously. The female figure is as dangerous to hardliner conservatives as bananas are to us atheists.

  • They didn't lock it because they thoght there was nothing wrong with it

They locked it because they KNEW that there was EVERYTHING wrong with it!

  • Maybe this video is the reason why I have never heard of CONSERVAPEDIA.

  • Now come on, HOW can you not believe in god. there is the banana argument, and the peanut butter that disproves evolution!

Or this *warning this might hurt your brain*

*holds up a cross* See this cross proves there is a god, why would I have a symblo of god being in this cross, if there was no god. So by me having this cross proves there is a god!

Good vid by the way a lot of great points and I am saving it as a favorite!

  • Bravo =)

  • "Liberal censorship" lol111.

  • I am atheist and conservative.

I wish more atheists would wake up and realize that liberal policies DO NOT WORK.

  • I've got a few videos on that, in fact.

  • yeah liberty what a weak idea.

  • Liberal policies as they exist in this country have absolutely nothing to do with liberty, no matter how much lip service they pay to it. See my series of Constitution lectures.

  • How is it liberty when those policies force companies out of business because they can not meet impossible environmental regulations?

How is it liberty when the the left tries over and over to make me a criminal for the simple act of owning a gun?

How is it liberty when the government tells me when I can and can not BBQ, light a camp fire, use my chimney, etc.

Where is the liberty in the government telling me Ï can not use standard light bulbs anymore?

  • What liberty did the banks have when Clinton FORCED them to give sub-prime mortgages to people they knew had no chance of paying them back?

What liberty is there when oil companies can't drill for oil?

Where is the liberty that allows a person to opt out of the FAILURE that is social security?

What liberty is there in being forced into a socialized health care system?

Where's the liberty when I have to give a large percentage of my paycheck to pay for welfare and illegal immigrants.
