The ref was brutal in this match again. it wasn't until after half time that he started penalising the sharks for dropping the scrum. He didn't ref the break down fairly either. Sharks players we slowing it down all the time and he allowed them hold on for ages on the ground. Shocking ref.
Lions... with the correct squad... could cause the springboks alot of problems.. the breakdown will be intense in the tests... cant wait to watch no matter who wins!! good luck lions!!

its not nessecarilly true that he should play the best squad all throughout, one because he doesnt know who the best squad is and with injuries etc u need to be able to have back ups who can play with the other players.
I agree they need a challenge hense the springboks but they need to play together as a team.
The springboks are a good side but with the best players in europe playing well as a team..who knows.. the lions have beaten NZ remember
the springboks field alot of the best players in the world at the moment(my opinion), so its a game between the best players in the world and the best players in europe and lets not forget that southern hemisphere has ruled rugby over the last two years at least
but i know that the lions with the talent and experience they have wil put up a fight.................lets see what happens june 20th
Fella, thanks for this. Great to see BOD playing well but some big lump will 'smash' him. Hopefully we will soon see a top Lions side against some strong oppostition as it has been hard to judge so far; too many mistakes and penalties but early days AND IT'S GREAT STUFF!
great stuff.....just one quick question for anyone out there....can someone explain to me why heaslips try is not considered a double movement by the referee??? not that it mattered in the end

think lions are decent team but the back row is too lightweight. Heaslip, wallace and croft are not ball carriers.

yeh the southern hemisphere dominates but Wales beat australia and should have beaten south africa in the summer.
SA are the world champs no one can deny them that, but by no means does that mean they are gonna walk through the lions.
not only the lions, but the tri nations will ber interesting too

I think double movement is shifting your body after your momentom ends. So stretching out your arm would be ok.
