  • scale rock crawler time!!!!

  • I thought the full size had a solid rear axle to but it has the independent suspension in the rear with trailing arms

  • dude what truck is that with the wheels in the back next to the body

  • wat is the stock connetion for the battery

  • @mustanggt500ism tamiya or standered plugs

  • May i ask what tire rack that is on the truck in the background in the video? the one where the two tires are side by side. where can i find one of those, or did you make it? it is really cool

  • This truck is cool but, very difficult to work on only because the roll cage does not come off unless you dismantle the cage piece by piece.

  • i hate thisn truck i bought it and im bitterly disapointed with it there is scale and then there is just slow and dont get me started on the screws it took it to my hobby shop and they tried to get the out and they just rounded off using the size screwdriver hpi tells you to use

  • @SLASHINANDBASHIN why do you "copy and paste" your same comment and repost it on a bunch of mini triphy truck videos?

who cares if you liked your RC?

  • @SLASHINANDBASHIN ...you actually took it to the hobbyshop? If you're one of them nitwits who take their RC to the LHS every time you need to 'service' it, then your comment is mute.

Did you really have to LOOK UP which screwdriver you had to use? -If so, I highly doubt that the screws are the problem in this equation.

Lastly; almost everything is 'slow' out of the box, and for your 220 buckaroos you can't really expect more.

I guess you're just new to this hobby, with much to learn. =)

  • @skogpekka i respect your opinion and believe you have the right to say it. at the time i posted the comment to maybe help somebody and warn them about the increadbly tight screws so thats why its on every video.

  • @skogpekka secondly i have been racing, building rc cars for nearly 10 years now i race contrast (take a look at the contrast racing) as you can see the contrast's are far better a much more for your money. i am good friends with my local hobby shop and ONLY use them to by cars from. also i own 35 rc's and have alot of experience with them(if u dont believe me give me your email and i'll send u some pics)since this comment was posted i bought an even slower scx10 4 scaleing

  • how much are they

  • what is the truck in the backround with the 2 wheels called i like ittt

  • what truck is that in the background with the two spare wheels with the blue body

  • @MICHAELS774 it is a slash if i remeber correctly form seeing it in the magazine that was done up to look like a desert racer, something similiar to a baja 1000 truck, it also has a full light bar set up on the front and is one hell of a nice build up, props to the guys who made it

  • @Chrisco247 is it urs??

  • @MICHAELS774 haha no, i wish it was, i just saw it while i was glancing through a mag at my local hobby shop

  • @Chrisco247

It's made by HPI. It has nothing in common with a Traxxas Slash

  • @MurPaDiLos do you even know what truck im talkin about?

  • @Chrisco247

    yes

the HPI MTDT. I own one

and sad to say, I hate the thing

  • do u now how fast it is in mph and is it water prof

  • can this drive on grass

  • @tinysam747 all rc cars when driving on grass tend to over heat quicker due to more resistance

  • what is the blue truck in the backround with the 2 tires on the very back really want to know i like the tire set up

  • I wonder if this will be legal to run with the SC trucks?? its almost the same WB as any of them just its skinny...weird they did that but I bet you could fix that!!, I wanna put an Axial solid rear axle in one and a 4x4 slash front end...But then might as well just build my own from scratch eh?? hmmm..ill get one just because its scale!!

  • i might get one of these just because of the scale look

  • is it fast and whats the motor and esc stock because a mini slash vxl is cheaper than this

  • @CODYtheHITMAN a mini slash VXL is also smaller and RUBISH

  • @mollis123456 OK BUT WHAT ESC AND MOTOR BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE A MAMBA

  • @CODYtheHITMAN--um no its not..go to RPP.COM they are 229.99 right now, but you arent gonna find a brushless one yet, its got a wheely King Tranny in it and drivelines and trailing arm rear end (which is siik!) and independent suspension all around, so its beefy and light enough to throw a mamba system er something in and some RC4WD 1.9 beadlocks and soft nice tires and this is one scale sik ass rig!! best thing HPI has ever done but I wish it was a little wider and had a solid rear axle

  • @rockhopperz93xeedmax sorrey i read it off a differnt site

  • It's a 1/12 scale base off the real thing. Scale is not base on the size of the rc car. It's base on the size of the real thing. That's why a 1/10scale Slash is the same size of a 1/8 buggy. The Slash itself is 1/10th the size of the real Sc truck Mike and Mark Jenkins race.

  • But it's a lot narrower than SCRT10.

  • People keep saying that it's small but it's the same length as the Jammin SCRT10

  • Looks Awesome!

  • I want one soooo bad!!!

  • HPI Have a Very Good Idea!

Soo WHY make in 1/12 SCALE???

    Too Little :-(

  • @mariabufas It's the same length as the Jammin SCRT10, 21 inches... and it's taller by an inch

  • @mariabufas little?? this thing is bigger than 1/16 traxxas slash that is big. any bigger get a 1/10 blitz!
