  • Lol, people from space always say "Take Me to Your Leader" when they land on Earth!!!

  • Lord Darth Vader is what, 7'2" ? next to 6' 3" ? Wolfman Jack

  • gent (belguim) 23/02/2011

  • Jason75: actually there were three people who played darth vader and two voices if I'm not mistaken although it has been a while...

  • I'm so happy I finally got to view this cool show! You would not believe how this movie ends, , see it for yourself at watchtheatrereleases . com

    watchenmovies . cam <-- o

  • i agree i got to talk to him on radio what a nice guy he had a cool cartoon show too

  • The Wolfman is one cool dude.

  • 80spreppy Your a kid I grew up in the 70's. The voice was down by james earl jones

  • They should've used the real Darth Vader voice

  • i be looking for slaves !! *loooool* WTF !!!

  • Funny thing- when this came on all of these classic rock bands- they weren't classic! They were the top of the charts. Damn- the late 70s and 80s had some amazing music- ignoring the Bay City Rollers.....

  • Sounds like The Count on Sesame Street breathing like a perv over the phone.

  • I only wish I could see the next episode; nice bands coming...boy...

  • Man, I watch every show of wolfman jack and plus listen to that old am radio station too. He was the voice for america. Bring back lots of good memories too.

  • this was great. never saw it before.

  • god got to love the 70s

  • Vader and Wolfman truly one of the greatest comedy duos of their time. Sad they never got the same recognition and respect of Abbott and Costello or Lewis and Martin.

After Wolfman died the fellow doing Vader started doing voiceover work for asian sci-fi films. Very sad.

  • RIP WOLFMAN!!!!

  • Wow. Talk about a Lucas jam-up. Star Wars meets American Graffiti!!

  • So right! I think George might have creamed his pants when the idea came out lol

  • Wow! That brings back memories!

  • Cool man! Just cool! I remember when I was 7 watching this. My mom woke me up late at night just to see this.

  • I walked past Darth Vader once in Hamleys, London many years ago. It was the real chap, doing a PA - he was massive! Scared the hell out of me.

  • LOL, I was there too, that must have been early 80's and I was way too scared to meet him I just stood there holding my dads leg but I remember it well...Small world.

  • old school

  • i cant believe this guy is on yt my dad was right he's funny!!

  • wolfman jack is the man

  • okey

  • hey does anybody remember darth vader being the guest on a friday night preview show for ABCs saturdaymorning kids show line up? it featured a glitter rock band and previewed the show "Wonder Bug"

  • Actually Darth made a couple Saturday Morning appearances. The 1st was CBS WACKO SATURDAY PREVIEW on Sept 8, 1977. It featured guests Soupy Sales & The Dwight Twilly Band, "Darth Vader", Carol Burnett, Jim Backus, Jonathan Harris, Gary Owens, Harry Nilsson, Loretta Swit, Marty Allen and cast from WACKO.

  • @WookieCookie do you have any WACKO videos? This was a fun show sometimes

  • The 2nd was Sept 9, 1977 on the ABC ALL-STAR SATURDAY preview show. Hosted by Kaptain Kool & the Kongs and with guests Shaun Cassidy, Robert Hegyes, Meadowlark Lemon, Lennie Weinrib, the Krofftettes, Darth Vader, Parker Stevenson, Pamela Sue Martin. I wish I could find copies of these!

  • yeah thats the one! this was before video recorders so I guess its lost forever. thanks

  • What is this FROM?

  • This was from an episode of the Midnight Special... a great music program in the 70s. The show show-cased many of the top bands of the time in live performances... not lip-synching... although a few bands did do it.

  • @WookieCookie Ah, the Midnight Special. You're right, there was very little lip-syncing. There would be nights when my parents would allow us to stay up late to watch this.

  • i love darth vader

  • Back when Lucas was pimping the SW characters in any way he could.

  • ok lol this kinda funy but kinda odd and not funny at the same time whats a alice cooper? lmfao!

  • what is an alice cooper? thats really hillarious

  • groovy video dude. the 1970s rocked then man. and the 70s had a ton of sci-fi episode series and comedian ones too. but they now show them on the TV LAND channel

  • Ok just weird....

  • yeah.. the voice actually totally destroys any 'cool"potential this may have had.

  • "Dark Vader" "You die" AH HA HA HA! That was funny!

  • Brings back some memories...yes, I remember this. If they had only gotten the voice right...it's almost as bad as if Hayden Christensen was whining through the mask.

  • Or rather the Count From Sesame Street. (Or count Dracula for that matter)

  • I only wish I could see the next episode; nice bands coming...boy...
