@BLMNDEF Not sure where I talked about this, maybe in the read me file. Mega Man's colors change depending on the level. They are meant to reflect the colors Mario wore in that particular Mario game. In SMB1, Mario wore brown/red, in SMB2 blue/red, in SMB3 black/red...

This is a hack of a rom file for a NES emulator. Not a stand-alone program. To play this, you have to get a clean un-edited MegaMan(US).nes rom, use a patching program to patch my ips file to the rom, then play it on a NES emulator.

I realize that is not the easiest thing to do, but that's just the nature of rom hacks.

I released this game almost 3 years ago. 183 comments on Youtube and a bunch more on forums all over... you are the first to say my game is hard. :p I made it waaay easier than the original and most people beat it on their first play through. I guess there's a first for everything.

As per Cutman's room...I totally half assed all boss encounters...to make the game really easy. So yeah...

Easy is when ya don't get owned in the Desert stage for Gutsman, but damn did that stage gave me fits!

Just so ya know I literally was trying to use a boss order that youtube reviewer "Aqualung" used for the original game. What's your recommended order?

I made the buster shot super effective against all of the initial bosses. Just look at how much damage I do to Bomb Man in the video with regular shots.

I didn't mess with any other weapons strength, so I would imagine all bosses should still be weak to the original game, so the sequence for the original should work just fine for my game.

The mushrooms are 1-ups. Romhacking is not rocket science ya know. Any fool can pick up Rock & Roll (The editor I used) and make their own MegaMan hack. Yes there are quirks and small problems ya gotto deal with that can get moderately difficult, but mostly all fun and not hard.

It is very bad form in the romhacking scene to upload .nes files. Downloading roms is illegal and hosting them is even more illegal. The accepted workaround is to upload a patch that will change the rom file you got somehow (hint: use google) and then just use patching program. My website has all the details you need to play this.
