I think the RFID scanner is the "up and out button" so you have to have a key card to go up to the roof.

Beautiful elevator, the outer door reminds me of the entrance doors in the museums in Hong Kong !
Also, is this a freight elevator, it looks so big.

That is the most STRANGE elevator around! I have never seen a hallway door for an elevator. I just joined in mid-november, so I am planning on getting my first elevator video soon.

there is one at 90 gold street in NYC. its key activated and i dont have the key :(

This elevator was installed by Dover in 1980, but modernized by Tejas in 2006. Also, the up and out button would be the level "R" button.
