I've been talking to someone about this also.

One of the definitions of the word person is a human being in Blacks Law Dictionary.

But what is a human being?

In law there is also a citizen.

But none of these are a man. They may however be a different status that a man can have... that is what I am leaning towards.

@ProtestSpp. Yes, Black's 9th Ed. now defines a "person" to include a "Human being", but as you say, what is that? My gut instinct says "Hu" is a contraction of "Hue" meaning "colour" ergo "human" is a "colorable-man"... check out how "colorable" is defined in Blacks 8th Ed.

Thank you. I had received the same response that you have just given me from an independent source as well. Here is an interesting definition I had sent to me: Random House Dictionary of the English Language, 2nd Edition, page 901, Human Being is defined as a "Natural man: unenlightened or unregenerate," and on page 1461, Unregenerate means "not regenerate; unrepentant; an unregenerate sinner; not convinced by or unconverted to a particular religion; wicked, sinful, dissolute."

Thank you ProtestSpp for sharing that. It's nice to know my "gut instinct" appears to be held by others as to "Hu-man".

Also interesting to see the "natural man" definition. I know the "law" is interwoven with "religion" and that each and everyone of us has our own "language". It seems this is why it is best to make as few "statements" as possible and always question.

I currently believe I'm a "private man" which is "alien" to the "public" (hence un-a-lien-able rights)

You are very good at speaking extemporaneously. I had not heard that word argot before either and an a very appropriate application of it to the language of the so called law society.

Cheers for the feedback Mark, it's appreciated. Whether your observation of my ability to speak "extemporaneously" is correct or not will no doubt be put to the test at some point, when a figure of authority disagrees & refuses to "understand" my position! Sitting expounding a philosophical perspective in front of a camera for 15 mins, relaxed & alone, will be nothing in comparison to a direct confrontation with an agent of the Establishment. Remaining reasonable, calm & "of mind" will be vital!
