if you look at pictures of him and compare them, you'll see his hairline has clearly receded. Considering the pressure young actors in Hollywood are under to have full heads of hair, I'd say there's a very good chance he got on hair medication before it got very noticeable. Either that, or he just has the biggest forehead in the world.
