@qrpkgrl i have this phone and i was wondering how exactly you 'debrand' it? is it... (illegal) and will at&t find out and cancel my service or what? any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
@USFCARTWRIGHT debranding and unlocking are not illegal... Remember that you own the phone - you may void your warranty, but that's about it (it's like modifying a car)!

@hitmankayne I don't use at&t, but knowing their usual moves, its probably blocked. But there are tutorials online to enable it to have threaded convos (msn like convos); Usually debranding takes care of it.
didnt have enough room to tell ya that this was a great review i enjoyed it very much i do now have this phone and it does work great i do have to say i love sony ericssons to begin with so far ive had 3 of em not to mention all the other phones ive had. but yea the camera is awesome i am going to start shooting my youtube videos away from my usual location.GREAT REVIEW 5 STARS FOR THAT
oh no wifi ill tell ya why they did that . It is because they want to charge the data plan on every smartphone and iphone that has wifi for faster speed while browsing the mobile web.If u ask me AT&T is getting a little greedy with their prices. Even with their go phones , you still have to pay a certain amount of money a month, stupid right, yea.oh and where in the hell did a "smartphone plan" come from because u still have the data plan along with this.what the hell is the world comin to
i debranded my phone to enable the wifi but for some weird reason it doesnt work any more. do you know what i can do to fix that?

I eventually did - but it's stupid that AT&T disabled it in the first place.
