There are several Christian bands who don't dedicate every one of their songs to their faith. Words like "bastard" and "whore" are words that were used in the Bible. I've heard priests even use those words in sermons. A song is like a story, and sometimes, there aren't religiously correct words to use to explain them.

@TrayCaddyyy It depends on their percpective and how they use it. "Bastard" is actually a term used for a male who does not have a father. In this case, "Father" meaning God the Father. "Whore" they are using in a sense that it is in the dirtiest place possible, or their tongue is used for filthy sayings like swearing, and in the song, vulgarity. I am NOT trying to be a know it all, because I actualy thought the exact same thing as you until I thought it over and did some research. God Bless.
