I don't think that Gavin sounds like Kurt Cobain at all. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Little Things" obviously sound alike because both Gavin and Kurt said that they got inspiration from the song "Gouge Away" by the Pixies. But that's where the comparison ends for me. Gavin sounds too English in his vocals to be Kurt, IMO.
