  • Great song, great message.

  • truly amazing

  • All you people reading into this are right and wrong...I know this will get a lot of hate and it will be spammed down but just watch the actual video and it explains itself.

  • @sacment i agree with you lol

  • The Hipsters official theme song XD lmfao lame asses but the songs dope!

  • @chriscasillas199 Are you saying this song is the hipsters themesong?

  • @MrFracture101 it was a joke dude

  • I'm a rocker and this shit is tight. Deep stuff man, I dig this.

  • my brother, who is a strictly rap music type person, fell in love with this song as soon as he heard it

  • The dislike bar looks like .. *cough* what dislike bar?!

  • just got to know this band today and i LOVE what i hear!

  • Still gives me the chills.

  • the awkward when the two top comments contradict eachother

  • thumbs up if you're sick of people asking for thumbs up....... oh wait....

  • I found out about this song because my history teacher made a video with it.

  • I tried this and fell off my bike!!

  • @666drwatson if you used a fixie or one of those tour de france bikes then you won't fall. I can do that with my bike. My college is on a giant hill (about 4 miles up) and I ride my bike up and down that hill. When going down. Let go of handlebars going 25-30 miles an hour. Epic win. you should try it.

  • kids at my school rui-. wait... this song cant be ruined.

  • So good.

  • headphones

  • cocksuking headphineds!!@@!

  • Stop actually asking for people to 'thumb up' your comments, that shit's annoying.

And stop actually giving in to the 11 year old attention seekers who are asking.

  • @Cansnohas You're any better?

  • Thumbs up if you really don't care about listening to them before or after they became popular.

    Just enjoy the music..

  • @jmarr100

Who gives a fuck? Welcome to the internet.

  • A person with a idea innocent and good in intent with the passion to follow through with his idea. His reach grows as does the persons idea and because of this he gains power and influence through the brilliant idea, eventually as it grows more and more with the power and influence he loses track of what the person sought out to do, eventually they struggle to do whatever is needed to keep said power and in the end becoming what the person wanted to cure the world of.

  • @Sinprak This is what to me the song is about.

  • i SWEAR this song is talking about the new world order.

  • @babeeshopiez123 you're not alone!!

  • Obama is not proud to be an American (read his book) - It explains all his policies. Fuck his speeches to get elected. He was in Joplin making statements that "He will beat the republicans in the next election" - Then blames them that they won't come to the table... LOL what a racist rookie, & yes i am white! stop looking at color!

  • @CAinfowarrior

And they've talking about there number one goal being making him a one term president and stuff like that. Its politics kid, thats the way they talk

  • this sounds pretty fucked up

    you need better quality man

  • 46 people dont know good music

  • flobots died out slowlyyyyyy'

  • This Band Is Not Big Enough. But It's Big In My Heart.

  • LOL

The best example of simple-flow white kid suburban rapping. I love Flobot's sound & his sound is exemplary, but reading what you guys say about them makes be LOL IRL thinking what you'd do if you ever heard Mobb Deep, Nas, or Trigga The Gambler. I'm guessing you'd all develop a taste for real Hop & move onto De La Soul & Lemon Jelly. & if you ever found out about real dubstep like Skream & Tes La Rok your goddamn heads would implode.

Best band ever is still Blind Guardian, though. Not sorry

  • @Claymann71 troll muuuuuuuuuch?

  • @Spiderguy117

Sit down. This comment wasn't meant for trolling purposes. If I tried trolling on youtube, there would either be a link to Rick Ashley or I'd have flamed something or someone into cinders. Yes, I'm 'a' troll, but I wasn't trolling 5 days ago, or even today.

In-fact, the only reason I'm bothering to reply is so I can recommend the best bud smoking song to-date: Incubus - Aqueous Transmission. As chill as a ice elemental in my garden during Happy Daze...

  • @Claymann71 what? the only thing i got from that was smoking bud

  • @Claymann71 DUUUUDE!!!!! that is so fucking true!!!! Aqueous transmission is so trippy you dont even have to burn inorder to get high ^^ oh and stoner. boy. swag. by Dot Dot Curve is good to burn too :)

  • How can anyone dislike this? :(

  • @LadikRoby because they have to have Handlebars to ride their bikes.

  • @LadikRoby

    Shit idk..

    Terrible lyricism?

  • @FromMuToYou Are you mad? -___-

  • @ewoksarecoool

"Look at me Look at me

Hands in the air like its good to be

Alive and I'm a famous rapper

Even when the paths are all crookedy"

All that needs to be said.

I'll admit it's a pretty catchy song and he has a nice flow but c'mon, it's like he didn't even try to write decent lyrics.

  • @FromMuToYou i don't see you making thousands of dollars off of your music... critics are trash. get out of here.

  • @SuperLegitTV

Are you actually stupid enough to think that means his music is good or are you trolling me?

  • @SuperLegitTV T. Pain is making millions. Ke$ha made decent money, too. Your argument is invalid.

  • @FromMuToYou The lyrics have a much deeper meaning than you might think.

  • @FromMuToYou That's not the point. Listen to the whole song, dipshit.

Actually, don't let me kid myself. You won't listen to it. So here's a hint towards the meanings of the lyrics:

Note that he repeats, "I can, I can, I can," constantly. Never does he say, "I will," or, "I should." The implication is that there is so much potential in humanity, but it's not being acted on. There's more to it than that, but these comment boxes are too small, and you probably won't read it anyway.

  • @RockwellDown

"Listen to the whole song, dipshit."

I have several times. Why would you assume I haven't heard it?

"and you probably won't read it anyway."

Depends. If your best analysis is saying "I can" (x3) represents the potential of humanity, what's next? Are you going to tell me "no handlebars" is a metaphor for society freeing itself from the constraints of an older, darker time in humanity's past?

A word of advice for you: Anything can sound intelligent if you over-analyze it.

  • @FromMuToYou actually hes right. the song is about how humanity can do anything we want, but with so much power we dont know how to control it. and while we seem powerful in the end all we can do is ride a bike with no handlebars.

  • @FromMuToYou Actually, he said that this song was about what humans can do. Ignore the 1st verse, the second and ESPECIALLY the 3rd verses are the important parts.

  • @LadikRoby

But I knew them before they where famous... pfft pathetic

Its fuckin great they are popular... hopefully the message reaches more and more people.

Anyone whinning about there success is a smacktard... these guys need to be heard.

  • this song hits so many levels of politics and its flaws its amazing....it shows lifes issues ...well done guys....show us how it should be...

  • @mazz9693236 ok then...you're an ass that's just jealous that somebody other than you has a high rated comment -.- not that it bothers me its more of an ego boost for me that you care so much :D

  • @walesxscarlets dude no one cares that you get a thumbs up, and no one cares if you have poor grammar over the internet so how about we all just shut up.

  • @5mokingCatnip lol poor grammar insult online hehe XD

  • @walesxscarlets oh, hahahaha, how cute. Don't flatter yourself. I do not care about a high rated comment, I care about grammar. Read the comment, there is no hidden meaning in that comment. Also, your ego seems to have a little to much boost; you are slightly egotistical. (Also, you meant, "okay" as well as, "someone other than yourself" learn English.)

  • @mazz9693236 lol my first language isnt english mae'n cymraeg ;) and every one is egotistical :L doesnt bother me :L

  • @oMyMike ya read my comment i explain it allenator13

  • @animefoo17 I watched an interview from the lead singer Johnny 5, and he stated that this song is not as pointless as it seems but people could interpret it the way they wanted.

  • the video ersion is better, this version is poorly sung and just bad.

  • *YAY* 854 comment!! YAY!

  • It's almost sick how people misinterpret this song. People say this song is pointless and stupid, but they don't know the least about the underlying meaning of it.

  • This song is touching and anyone can relate. The video clarifies a lot too. It''s like an accidental modern apocalypse.

  • WHAT IS THIS??? NO.

    just.. no.

  • @bdebramo then don't listen to it

  • @KingOfLegends23 this is my favorite song... this is a different version.

  • nice :)))

  • every song delivers a powerful message....i love them!

  • I dig this song, mellow and it's nice to here something different. Saw these guys last weekend and they put on a good show.

  • Look at me, Look at me, hands in the air, like it's good to be.. ALIVE.

  • This song is in the top 10 greatest song invented by any1

  • @DoomBrothersInc whose top 10 would that be?

  • if you didnt know this is not the real song listen carefully thats not the singer of flobots but the one that sing is good and very good song

  • 42 dickheads needs a shock treatment

  • Did not even really listen to the lyrics ... shame on me. I love this song even more, now.

  • i can do all that stuff 2

  • I know every word by heart. Their songs have moved me so much (I'm a HUGE Flobots fan), to the point where I even wrote an essay for school about this song. My class voted it as the most beautifully in the class, which wasn't hard with this much amazing motivation. Flobots forever!

  • I believe that the song is saying that just because we can do somthing doesnt mean that we should. For saying like I can "ride a bike with no handlebars" ,its pretty dangerous (im sure we can all agree on that) therefor we shouldnt ride like that. And it can be applyed to the rest of the lyrics as well.

Just a little thought that came to my head.

  • perfect, how they combine rap and rock! much better than linkin park on good days!

  • amazing song!! Top shelf shit.

  • i dont think this song is about any of that stuff i think its saying anyone can do anything and everyone has a reason to live its called destiny, yet you have to make your own destiny :p

  • This whole song runs with the idea of childhood innocence and it's eventual destruction through conflicts. It starts with the quirqy things children figure out that they can do. It moves into the ambitions of the person in question and finally ends with the reality that his life becomes. I don't understand why arguments arise from these songs. Yes, they are politically charged but when cut we all bleed the same! Isn't fighting contradicting the whole message of this song?

    MAKE PEACE NOT WAR!

  • hes a liar, he cant do all those thinhs!
