what is that feint static sound? almost sounds like loose change or like the camera bouncing on its window mount. JW becuase im looking into the pendelum and/or tranny mounts and if that slight static, crinkeling sound is a unfortunate small con of the mod, then i would really like to know, as i do love driving, and want to inprove driving quality, but not hinder much luxury or random noises. It seems to make the noise when on/off part throttle on a turn, shifting, and lower rpms.

Just bought my 2011 GTI (white, 4-door, 6-speed manual) today! Taking delivery this week and cannot f***ing wait! I have to say, I'm coming from a V8 Mustang and I was a little apprehensive about going with a FWD car with 100 less bhp. I have to say though, after my test drive and watching videos like this I was totally sold. This car is a blast to drive!

Serious man, when I was car shopping and looking at the Mk6, this video helped me make my decision. Great video. Got the car a month ago, 2 door, carbon gray metallic w/sunroof etc. and 6 spd manual and love it so much. The stock exhaust sound on these is great. Thanks for posting this video.

Dude, that's awesome to hear! Glad you enjoyed the video!! When I bought my GTI I wanted nothing more than to see a video like this to help me with my decision. So after I bought mine, I went out and made one! lol This car is incredible when driven very quickly. I'll be sure to make another one in the summer when I put the sticky street/track tires on :D. Yeah, and right on getting a proper 6 spd manual. I love the pickup the car has, especially in 3rd, 4th & 5th.. Just when you think you'll have to downshift to get the power, you get it all using your right foot because the max torque is always there.
