I do know that the Hizbolla fighters used a close-to-the-UN-post possitions, as much as other Hizbolla possotions that were in a civillion area (Mosks, schools, etc) and it was a delivered strategy by Hezbolla, so if Israelis would miss, they would hit civilions and UN positions. However, there are some differences in the IDF and UN forces. The IDF is a fighting army, the UN peacekeepers are - well, peacekeeping force that protects civilians. I do know that the Hizbolla fighters used a close-to-the-UN-post possitions, as much as other Hizbolla possotions that were in a civillion area (Mosks, schools, etc) and it was a delivered strategy by Hezbolla, so if Israelis would miss, they would hit civilions and UN positions. BTW, it's the same strategy owns by El-qayda and other groups in Iraq, Afganistan

And the bombardment lasted hours while the UN outpost was in contact with the Israelis by radio begging them to stop the attack. And after hours of bombardment the Israelis ordered a air strike on the outpost to finally finish them off. To this day no one has been put to court for the attack.

Inhabited, maybe, but the fact is that state of Israel was founded before Palestine. It was under Great Britain's shared control with France. They gave territory of current Israel to jews under the mandate of UN (Yet everybody is blaming Israel). I don't know, it goes like that, yet the whole mess in middle-est is fucking absurd, no sense at all. This bombing is just crazy thing, I cannot understand it. And, I do not wan't to say that Hamas makes all arabs bad either. Both sides has their hands in deep shit. Shit over there has grown so much that no one knows what is true anymore. But I am tired to see that jews - main victims of holocaust - are the ones to blame. They sent text messages to civilians before lauching their massive offensive in Gaza recently. Offensive itself was a mistake, I don't think it was justified at all. Anyway, Hamas do not give warnings. And they also target civilians.

However, there are some differences in the IDF and UN forces. The IDF is a fighting army, the UN peacekeepers are - well, peacekeeping force that protects civilians. (Yes, I think UN should send some peacekeepers also to Israel to help protecting Israeli civilians from attacks of Hamas / Hizbollah / whatever).

On the same note, can someone explain why Hezbollah shelled the town of Haifa? Why not turn their guns around and fire at the invading soldiers? All they do is give israel justification to be brutal.
