Really! Who is better than Neil Peart? I want factual data also. The guy won modern drummers drummer of the year like 5 years in a row. He isn't even on the ballot, but still gets more write in votes than any other drummer every year. He is respected by every peer. He is the greatest living drummer, by far! I only wish Buddy Rich was alive so they could have drum offs. He is incredibly talented and very gifted. If I had 1/2 of his talent I wouldn't have to write here that he is the greatest.

Rush are way too serious. I grew out of them just as I grew out of skateboards and the like. They are for youngsters who are 'impressed' by the music. It is hollow and soulless. This was THE BEST tour I have ever been to. And been to some biggies (Roger Waters and Tom Petty to name a few). I saw the Seattle show, and I was completely blown away! The best part was that it was an outdoor venue, so your ears didn't ring afterward.

When Neal finished the solo, he looked like he was about to die. But I think this is probably he best solo, not just a changing-the-order-around-with­-the-Vapor-Trails-solo like R30 was.
