Getting fucked with the Models 1887 for most of the game and finally getting to use them was one of the best feelings in Modern Warfare 2. They are a lot less frustrating than the fucking One Man army/Danger Close/Noob tube combination.

All sniper rifles are outrageously overpowered in every single CoD ever made, but as soon as they make a shotgun realistic, the AR/SR ghost/blind eye whores throw a fit. How about they actually make the time it takes to aim a sniper rifle realistic? Or what about making it so a guy can't sprint around with a Barrett ad pull it up to ADS like its an SMG? Plus, shotgun users get their asses handed to them before their guns get nerfed anyway. This same neutering is about to happen to MW3's Striker.

The weapon was perfectly fair as everyone could use it and it's range. I'ld like to see the range be farther in mw3 and make the game realistic for once. The m16 is too powerful in mw1. Shotguns are op in shortrange, like snipers are op in long range. Spas works this way: You miss facing another guy, you are dead, unless maybe he's less experienced.

However, If spas were a primary weapon with a little more range it would be ballanced. The damage would of course lessen, the further away the target would be.
