all you need to do is tap on back rain and then you can start to download cydia from there you can also download winterboad to manage your downloads from cydia. hope it helps!

This was the only thing that finally worked for me. the part at 3:30 helped. Just turn off the phone, run blackrain, make sure it says waiting for phone, then plug in the phone, turn it on, and hold the home button until the blackrain logo appears on the phone.

its simple all you do is run blackra1n then when it says runnong exit out of it and then start it again while the phone says connect to itunes then when it says waiting on device restart the phone by holdong down power and home and then as soon as the apple comes up release the power but keep the home button pressed untill you see the jailbreak screen

No DLL error means that it can't find the iTunesMobileDevice.dll file because you don't have iTunes installed.

solution for this is simple, you will need to place the Blackra1n executables in the Apple folder under Common files in Program Files. The folder would be located in the following locations:

32 Bit – C:Program FilesCommon FilesAppleApple Application Support

64 Bit – C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesAppleApple Application Support

tried what u said in the video, u said turn it off and hold home screen and plug in while running, once i unplugg the ipod it says jailbreak complete , every1 time u unplugg, so there for u cant have it running while the ipod is not connected, need to find device while it running, u didnt show us when u finally got it working, so i think ull full of shit

@desiredfuneral What I want to know is why you are still bothering with blackra1n as it's a very old jailbreak. And also I recorded this during the first release of blackra1n where there were issues occurring on the 3G model, which is why I was doing all of those extra steps.

One more thing, don't tell anyone that they are "full of sh*t" just because you can't get it to work. It reduces your credibility.

EVERYONE I GOT A 3G 8GIGS AND I SOLVED THE PUZZLE.1-TURN OFF antivirus and any other aplications2-instal blackra1n somewhere on your pc and after extarcting it make a copy of the exe.file and paste it in C drive.3-press control -alt-delete and on task bar in processes close any aplications to do with itunes.4-go to C and right click on blackra1n and run as admnistrator.5-once br1n its runing and only than plug your iphone to the pc olding the home and power button bulshit as above explained.
