Why do you emphasize taking the government taxis? Is it dangerous to do otherwise? I have heard that Mexico City is the kidnapping capitol of Mexico and possibly of all Latin America. Is this true? Is this why you say to take ONLY the government taxis? I just recently returned from the state of Yucatan (via Caribbean cruise ship) and thought I might like to visit Mexico again at some point. Thanks.
Sorry It depends.....It is normally best to check your baggage all the way through to a final destination that way you do not have to "deal" with it, as you are doing. As far as boarding passes go you want to get them as far as you can for onward flights but if you are flying on different airlines or do not have a confirmed seat or gate departure you may need to get the boarding pass in route which is usually no big deal. Boarding passes for return fligts are only issued on the return. Tk care!
question, i will fly from DUS-AMS-MEX-VER that my flight, my luggage will be labeled to Veracruz Mexico so i will see it not between DUS and VER if i am right. All boarding passes you get on each airport? or do you get all boarding passes on the first airport of departure (in my case DUS and for the returnflight on VER)? If i have to get boarding pass on Mexico City, where can i get them?
are the airports the same in mexico city and san luis potosi ? Im goign to mexico in a year to meet my online boyfriend! I dont speek much spanish, so I just want to know if there are gates when you arrive and a waiting bay right outside the gates? thanks :3
@keely010 San Luis Potosi is a completely different city. Its about 400 km from the airport featured in this video. Though, I guess you will need to transfer through other airport first before flying to Sn Luis Potosi.
