sure the van exceeds the 70km/h speed limit, but i'm sure that should anythin happen on the vast empty roads, it can stop in time if it is unladen.

in fact, i reckon ya should be more cautious on the road next time. put down the camera/camera phone and concentrate on ya drivin.

there are lots of cars running around using afterafter market header. FYI, I do not use my hand to hold onto my handphone while driving, it's on a handphone holder that is mounted onto the windscreen.

do you know that there is such things that are call "handphone" holders that have rubber suckers to stick to the windscreen. My handphone are on the holder at all times whenever I drive and I also use a bluetooth when answering phone calls.

1. i seriously doubt ya can START VIDEO RECORDING from ya BLUETOOTH HEADSET.

2. to start a VIDEO RECORDING, ya need ya HANDS ON THE PHONE.

3. it is ILLEGAL to operate the phone while driving, EG: SWITCHIN ON VIDEO RECORDING on the phone.

I start my camera as soon as I get into my car, my previous N95 8GB can record for 1hr for a single clip and my new N97 can record 1 hr 30mins for a single video clip. All my local driving do not last for more than 45 mins lah, so I just have to stop recording when I park my car and at home, use a video editing software to shorten the clips and upload to youtube.

LOL, travelling 90km/h (at one time close to 100km/h) on expressway limit of 90km/h is norm for cars lah. I am not playing police as I always have my hp on video mode whenever I drive lah. That's why I can say that the van driver is definately faster than 90km/h. If I were to play police, I would already send this to TP liao, lighten up will you ;>) OBTW, my tyres were a bit undersize, my stock is 215/65/15 but I am using 215/50/17 (should be 225/50/17), so my speedo will be faster by 2.1%

I found that a GPS will be much more accurate than a speedometer. In Canada and the US, the cars are typically giving you a speed reading which is 7% higher than what you're actually driving.

I had a pair of Magellan GPS's agree on the speed with a Garmin GPS, but compared to a speedometer, the speedometer read high.

I was travelling at 90+km/h on the expressway, that is why I am very sure the VAN is faster than me lar. Did I say I wanted to chase down the VAN driver? My phone is always on video mode when ever I drive, when I want to drive fast, I do it in N/S HW.

oh of course at times the VAN hit 110km/h because he was faster than my 100km/h. It's ok for me as I am driving a MPV and the expressway speed limit is 90km/h, I am almost 10km/h above the limit. A VAN limit on the expressway is 70km/h, if he travel above 100km/h, he is already 30km/h above and if there is a lasercam, who do you think will kanna...hahahaha....

i just wonder why the police do not take action against commercial vehicles, especially those on the expressway. They travel all over the lanes that are meant for faster vehicles, like cars and emergency vehicles. Many times i have witnessed these commercial vehicle travelling on the extreme right and speeding and over taking in a dangerous way.. Thereby making it dangerous for cars as they also blocked the front view with their big vehicles . When are the police going to take stern actions?
