  • Fimo deko gel is the same thing as fimo decorating gel right? Because I found a decorating gel from fimo on amazon and I was just wondering if it was the same thing. Thanks!:)

  • @yogurt395 Yup. I think so. They've changed the names..I think..

  • This doesn't work with magazines does it?

  • @ghostofnothing123 It does - with magazines that are not "covered in plastic".. uhm, don't know how to say that in english exactly. Well, newspapers are ok. The kind where you easily get ink on your hands after reading them through, you know. It means that the ink will easily transfer to the clay.

  • @GentlemanBunny You mean "laminated"? Or just coated with gloss?

  • are you left handed? ;D

  • @BratzLoverGirl Yes.

  • how long do you bake it for and love the sample =)

  • i have to do this! its a shame i dont have the kind of magazines you mean though :( are you sure glossy magazines or printers wont work?

  • Great video and r u sure the paper will not catch fire in the oven

  • @thedorketts11 Well, keep an eye on the paper. But.. the burning temperature of paper is (as I understand it) muuuuch higher than the temperature we bake the clay in.

  • the music in the background sounds like burlesque

  • @keroppiluvuke It's Marilyn Monroe, singing.

  • Wow this is soo much fun! Buti put on the layer too thin :P oh well

  • @gentlemanbunny awe where can I get the paper? Hehe

  • wow. but what if the newspaper doesnt have the image you want becuase i know my newspapers kinda extremely suck

  • @nurdacious1 Yup, that's a problem :)

  • What do u use 4 this??? Please reply!!!

  • @ktsue1010 FIMO Deko Gel.

  • would translucent liquid sculpey work?

  • @XjacksonhaltomX Yes you can use it too. But FIMO Deko Gel is more transparent. TLS has more "smoky" look to it.

  • @GentlemanBunny Not true just with TLS you have to do a ultra thin layer, best thing to do is use a paint brush ans paint a paper thin layer on and it comes out perfect and copies every last detail. I tried TLS using your FIMO method and it did come out smokey, just had to learn its trick :D

  • can you like print something and then use it?

  • @PearlyTi Depends on your printer :)

  • Can you leave it fir a couple of days without baking or do you have to bake it as soon as your done? And I thought you couldn't put paper in the oven? Is it safe?

  • @KlareAquaTea Hmm. I'm actually not sure about liquid clay. Normal clay you can leave for a couple of days..but I'm not sure about how the liquid works with the photo image if... You can put paper in the oven, it won't burn because it's under the liquid clay.

  • @GentlemanBunny

Could the same be said for a piece of fabric? Thanks for the vid :)

  • Do you bake it or do you wait for it to dry?

  • Where did you get the deko gel? I looked ALL over Michael's and hobby lobby :/

  • @GentlemanBunny Ok, I might try it out and if I do I'll let you know the results

  • Could you draw something with an ink pen and then put the liquid sculpey on it right after and it would work?

  • @lol4evergirl Hmm, very interesting idea! I don't know..never tried it.

  • So you put the liquid on the image, bake it (it doesnt harden on its own, right?), peel it off, then you can bake it again on another piece of clay?

  • @lol4evergirl Yup =)

  • This is awsomee!!!!!

  • Your welcome

  • This is so cool!!!!!!

  • @littlemisstootsie Thank you!

  • Hi !! thanks for this tutorial. i have a question : when do you bake the clay ? do you have to bake both clay and magazine ?? Thank you for your answer

  • @ArtVintageGallery Yes both the liquid clay & the image you cover it with. While baking the image will transfer from the paper to the clay.

  • @GentlemanBunny Thanks a lot !!!

  • do you bake the clay when you put it on the back of the liquid clay finished product ?????

  • @GentlemanBunny if printed, does the image have to be fresh? like just printed?

  • lol the song is funny :D

  • @comihuwaLOL :D

  • this may sound wierd but i love your accent! love this video

  • @supernicegirl26 Thank you! =)

  • Where do you buy fimo liquid

  • @cutebunny560 Same place you buy clay from.

  • Do u bake the new image in the translucent fimo that is hard with the clay in the oven?, I'm worried the translucent is going to melt

  • @TheStephaniemakeup Yup, you need to bake it for it to become solid.

  • If you aren't able to use a laser printer, would printing the image onto photo paper work well?

  • @Otakufangirlxoxo Not sure. You can try =)

  • what can i do if i dont have a laser print and i have images i want to transfer can i print them and use liquid clay to transfer?

  • @MIssTouver I took this image from a magazine..those are good.

  • I use white glue to transfer printed photos and it works!!

  • @Gleekfreak33 Cool!

  • Your voice is beautifully feminine, and sexy sounding...

  • @TheMedievalMan Ohkay :D

  • does the tls harden without the clay under it? and can we use any printed picture? thanks ^^

  • @AlleyNekoChan Yes and yes. You need to bake TLS for it to become hard.

  • That's so freaking cool! I wish you were my arts and crafts teacher :/

  • @theinoccent1 Thank you! :P

  • When you add the clay to the baked Tls, do you put it back in the over? or will that ruin the already baked Tls?

  • @fluffyfan07 Yes I do put it back in the oven.

  • omg! i wanna try that!!! i'm gonna use brian hugh warner! who, may i add used the first part of marilyn monroe's name for his stage name, marilyn manson. :)

  • @erickav808 Cool :P

  • Hi GentlemanBunny, I was wondering if u dry the transluscent clay? because i just started using mine and dont have much experience... :/

  • Hi gentlemanbunny!

I was really wondering if a normal image will work with this..I really want to do this too, although I am hesitant because I am not sure what the outcome would be if I won't follow all the materials here

    :<

Thanks so much for this video!

  • Oh, lol i didnt read the discription lol :)

  • could you use TLS ????? :)

  • how would you add a eyepin?

  • @iRJoanne I add it to the "white" background that I make out of clay, and then bake it.

  • bake and bond

    work

  • i dont understand, do you put the tls on the laser ink image, and then cook the paper and tls in the oven... when i am wondering is wouldent the paper start on fire in the oven or do you need a different type of paper?? im really confused!

    ps i <3 your videos

  • @xxemily5502 Paper does not catch fire in the oven because the oven is not hot enough for that :) Basic science.

  • and how long should i bake it?i baked mine for 5 min......s dat ok already?

  • @zhadzi20 I think 15min at least.

  • i tried to transfer my picture using tls and the paper kind a stuck to the tls....wat should i do?

  • @zhadzi20 You can wash/scrub the paper off. Bake until the liquid clay has become solid and somewhat clear/transparent.

  • Does it **work for colored images??

  • Does this qoek for color cuz it looked like black and white after...

  • @slsrox1298 Yup, but light colors don't "show" as much.

  • Can I use

    SCULPEY liquid clay?

    Not fimo.

Also, How long do you bake it?

  • @PolymerKlay Sure :) Hmm..bake it until the liquid clay becomes more "clear" looking, that means it's hard.

  • how long do you bake it and what would happen if you use glossy kinda waxy paper from a magazine

  • wait what was the white stuff that you put on the back??

  • @cascada17509 White polymer clay.

  • Cool!

  • Cool! Will try!

  • @lottieloops101 thats what Im confused about :/

  • this is sooo cool:)...do u print the image in the newspaper with your printer?or did u find the image there alredy?...im confiused plz help!thanks:)

  • @SuDesigns I found the image from a magazine :)

  • I tried it with hot glue and it also worked :)

  • That is pretty awesome. Once my TLS comes in the mail, I think I am going to try to make an Lucille Ball charm for myself ;)

  • @sugarbaybeecharms you dont have a suplyer near you

  • love the tut how much is the gell?

  • I love ur voice I just love it

  • how long do you bake it and what do you bake it in

  • @PenguinsRule990 In a normal kitchen oven. On an oven tray, on a baking sheet.

  • I have a question, Do you bake it?(: THanks

  • @MissMuffinSprinkles Yes I bake it.

  • Cool

  • thats so kool

  • @aglover1reba Thank you!

  • what was the white stuff you put on the back of it? and can you put holes in it after its baked or do you have to attach a loop like you did?

  • @northsideqirl White clay? Well, you can put holes in afterwards if you've got the right tools, the clay is pretty hard after baking. But of course not any harder than..hmm..plastic.

  • where can i buy liquid clay???

  • @JenniferDarkness Craft stores..somewhere where they sell Sculpey or FIMO polymer clay.

  • Can I print off a picture from my printer and use that?

It's the printer where you put copy paper in and it puts ink on it.

Also when you bake it do you put it in your over or could I use a toaster oven?

(One more question I promise lol)

How does the paper that is not covered in liquid clay not burn?

  • @fluffyfan07 Hmm you may try and see if the printer ink is ok. I guess toaster oven is ok. Paper does not burn in the low degrees we bake the clay in.

  • if only i had money to buy clay

  • u seem so different when u type and talk

  • @mrsbieber4250 Ohh, how come? =) More rude when talking or typing?

  • @GentlemanBunny oh no no no, sorry . its ur accent.

  • @mrsbieber4250 Ohh, yeah =) So I pass as a native english speaker when I type? :) But yup, it's not my first language. And not actually even my 2nd language.

  • Thank you! great work!! i love marilyn monroe

  • @MissJen27 Thank you!

  • do you have to re-bake the liquid clay if you want to put regular polymer clay on the back?

  • @PhPkM13 Yuuup.

  • wow! thanks for this tutorial. ♥ it!Ü

  • @23weiss No problem =)

  • @lottieloops101 Uhm..one of the two :D errm..

  • Yay!! I ♥ it when you talk! ;) What video editing software do you use? And is it free?? LoL! :)))

  • @814girl Thank you! I use windows movie maker or windows live movie tool..thing. Yup, free.

  • For the image, would I be able to use a picture that I print from the computer?

  • Tgis is soooooo cool!

  • @TheMilklover3 Thank you!

  • @Tigerwolfie2655 Until the liquid becomes solid & transparent, you'll see it when you make it.

  • After you put the liquid clay/ TLS on the image...did you bake it or it's gonna air dried?

  • @mickeyluv101 Bake it.

  • @mococococreations Nope :)

  • I LOVE this video!! :) I dont know why, i like your videos when you talk :)

  • @NeonSmileyFaces Thank you!=)

  • Hey! I tried it out today, with an image from a magazin and an own printed one, I printed it with a laser printer. Put both ways didn't transfer the image =\ I could peel the paper of, but the clay was "empty" =( You have any idea why ?

  • @sunny1215 Hmm, the paper is just not the right kind. Experiment with the papers and you'll see what works and what doesn't.

  • i'm going to put the TLS to the image then bake it? :D

  • @joannskipot Yuup.

  • Does TML work the same? I mean, do I do anything differently?

    200th comment, btw :)

  • @monkeybananafling What is TML? I don't know.

  • @GentlemanBunny

Sorry, I ment TLS (Translucent Liquid Sculpey).

  • @monkeybananafling Ohh, I think it should work the same, but it is less translucent..so, the image might not show up as clear.

  • Comment removed

  • @littlemissclay I put on the liquid clay and bake it. Then I remove the paper..add a white background (of clay) and bake again.

  • @nikorechanKawaii Thank you!

  • When do i have to bake it?

  • @weheartcupcakes After adding the liquid clay on top. And also if you're going to put a white "background" like I did at the end, that needs to be baked too.

  • Is there a website where you buy Fimo because I haven't really found any online or fimo in the store. And Fimo is much better because TLS get's a yellow tint.

  • @AlexJensen Amazon?

  • If you still were going to cover the backside with white clay, you could as well have just leaved the picture on to the clay, and no need to peel it off. Right?

  • ooooh! so you did not bake it? sweet that might have helped me with my problem! thanks bunny :3

  • @Ivychandessu I baked it. The image won't transfer unless you bake it.

  • @GentlemanBunny for how long? I mean, the last time I bake it it got burned... :/

  • @Ivychandessu Hmm.. 15minutes or so. Until the liquid clay has become "solid".

  • @neveryouridea Yay =)

  • Can u use liquid sculpey for this or no

  • @BlowPopCharms141 Yes I think so, but it's not as "transparent" as fimo deko gel.

  • Where are you from?

  • @polymerclaystuff99 Finland.

  • @aardbeix3 Thank you!

  • Oh .. Thanq anyways ! ;*

  • @GentlemanBunny you should make mini peanutbutter cups

  • oooh, that's really cool :)

  • So neat. ^^ I can't wait until I'm not sick anymore, so I can head to the store and get some more stuff for creations. @_@ And Happy New Year!

  • WOW!!! That 's awesome!! Thank you for sharing!!

    Happy new year!

    Cindy

  • @Cindylee29 No problem. Thank you! Happy new year :)

  • Neat. Thanks for the video!

  • @deenaimnida No problem =)

  • so i can't use all type of magazine paper? most of them are really glossy..by the way great idea!
