It's not the size, it's the SHAPE!!! You need to measure yourself just below the breasts, then at the middle, then at the bottom of the corset, no matter how long the corset is.

The difference between waist and hips is most important. In a perfect world, you'd like to get your hips and bust the same, but that's a lower priority.

You can't permanently reduce the inches because of the corset. That's a common misconception. You lose weight from wearing a corset often, because it presses on your stomach, blah blah blah. It however is not permanent. You can gain the weight back. Well at your age, which I don't know but you don't look like you are done growing, you can permanently deform your body by wearing a corset often as you grow.

You gradually increase by a little bit. It should feel constrained, but not overly uncomfortable. You wear it for a few hours, try a bit more next time.

Oh you'll be totally fine if you just take it slowly and only do what you feel like you can handle if for 1 second it hurts listen to your body and make it stop

it amazes me how much time you spent on putting in on... I've got a corset, and putting it on takes about 2 minutes...and no, I don't wear it often..and yes, I take the limit out of it

I think you should better stand stil when you pull the lines..if you move before you make a tie in the lines. If you move the lines get lose again..so..try to stand still with your body ;) (it might safe time) good luck

My natural waist size used to be a 24... And after over a year of contant corset wearing, managed to reduce my waist to a 20 [with the corset on] without it, I'm like a 21 and a half. So finally... and hourglass. I wish I could reduce it some more, but... It'd look really really weird... I have wide hip bones.. Don't think I can reduce that huh...
