Honestly. This video seems almost normal during what some could call the 'Gaga' era. But it's tastefully done, and has much more meaning than Gaga could ever have in the weirdness she concocts. At least Xtina keeps it relevant. :)
@littledeadybear What the hell are you on about? This video was released in 2003, how is it still relevant? It's totally different from what Gaga is doing. Wigs don't automatically = Gaga. Obviously, there's not going to be anything overt or distasteful in a song about overcoming her father's abuse. Gaga's songs are more sexual, so sexier videos make sense. Anyway, art is subjective so it's stupid to say one has more meaning than the other.

It would be a relevant theme/topic no matter who sung it or when but you never mentioned the song, only the video. If Gaga released a meaningful song, which she hasn't yet, I'm sure the video would be different to her club/sex themed videos. Let's not forget Xtina has released her fair share of meaningless sex videos, too.

Effin' love this song! My favourite Christina song - so empowering and perfect for her powerful voice. And I love the video, too - very conceptually creative and a welcome change from watching people in skimpy clothing gyrate (not that that's necessarily a bad thing ;) )
