Excellent post, not heard this for probably 27 years. Does anyone remember another kids programme around the same time (circa 1984) called 'Home'. The theme tune to that was great as well. "Home, Home, Home is where the heart is" if i recall.

@holmeschapelmouse I do remember Home it was shown in the 80's when I was about 12 or 13 however I remember the tune more than the show!!! it was an Aussie show if I remember correctly and the song has a part where the guy sings "I been thinking 'bout it, thinking 'bout it!!" I'm sure its on youtube somewhere! :-)

This sure takes me back to the 80s when we had great cartoon. Man its been a long long time since I hard this song and watch the show. I know I am up there in age as the last person on the comment said "never to old to watch cartoons" . Thanks for the upload and memories Fuzzbuzzuk. This sure made a day to remember. Wow, yeah a great favourite and I agree, very unknown to most. Top theme tune - really up there with Chopper Squad and G-Force Battle Of The Planets and the proper version of Chips.

Was this tune ever released on the market, or does it exist solely as a T.V. theme tune does anyone know?

I absolutely love this song. It has an epic sound it. This cartoon aired her in Norway in the 80s as well (with norwegian dubbing for children) but I´ve seen episodes with the original italian voices with subtitles later and it is alot better. In most cases the original is the best.
