@moabdah9 Maybe I could have said that a bit better but Locks provide 60% of the Pushing and Props provide the other 40% not to downplay or big up anybody's role in the Scrum there all equally as important but that's how it is.The 8 and flankers are there mostly to break off and tackle should the other team get possession so where else does the pushing come from? The Locks.Speaking of which which prop are you Tight or Loose.

@WhiskerScot569 lets put it this way , if a team earn a turnover from a scrum it would be down to the efforts of the front row mainly not the locks, but generally the locks give like u said 60 percent of the strength, also all flankers do is push props inwards and the number 8 is arguably just a bit more strength but in terms of the scrum itself its all tight five. and i play anywhere in the front row, usually hooker but sometimes loosehead, rarely tight head

@moabdah9 On that I can suffice and agree with as you probably would have guessed i play as a Lock as apart from 8 that's the only place I could be considered to play at 6'4.5'' or 194cm my uncle's even taller at 6'7'' since your a hooker (This is under the assumption your an adult) you would be maybe 5'10''-6'0'' maybe a bit taller

@moabdah9 Nah it's pretty average actually believe me it's better at that height at 14 because when i was 14 i was 5'11'' and i was forever getting taken out because i was too tall and all they had to do was grab me round the waist which wasn't hard for them. But that was before i learned to Fend now unless you are really good you don't get nowhere near me.

Look, i support the lions and i would have loved them to win, but they didnt, im over it, it wasnt me playing, if id been playing then i think id have a bitter taste left after that game......but here we have it, sheridan should be cited...obviously it wasnt a full on punch but it wasnt exactly accidental.....i personally feel that Botha shouldnt have got anything, maybe a bollocking at most, but a ban, it was only cos of the injury, Burger on the other hand i dont care wasnt red carded.......

1. Overall SA deserved to win the series - no problem there and well done.
2. It wasn't a full punch but Sheridan should have been cited anyway - I'm amazed he wasn't .
3. Botha was unlucky - it didn't look that bad.
4. But mind you wearing 'give us justice' armbands supporting him was insular and arrogant - there is REAL injustice in this world that merits armbands.
5. And trying to dig your fingers into someones eyes deserves more than 8 weeks - possibly a life ban.

When I saw BOD getting dumped in NZ (2005) I felt sorry, not only for the Lions but for an immensely skillful player who was denied the stage by two players who committed a foul and filthy act. After reading the post series press (2009) I feel sorry for NZ and wholeheartedly support the scrapping of the Lions. Shoot the Lion cos even in defeat it still bites.

Botha was unlucky!! Honest rucking. Been taght that since being a kid. When rucking u go low and hard!! If u watch closely at the clip of Botha rucking you see Rees doing the same thing. And this is from the side of the ruck!!! Any other ref would have blown a penalty for that. Its unfortunate it injured Jones who was playing well but thats rugby. You watch the Super 14 and Tri Nations you see high intensity and teams accept defeats graciously.

Given the position of the referee, and where it happened, ref probably didn't see it. A punch, (closed fist), is a red card offence - He should have been sent!! Very surprised it did not get picked up by the citing commissioner as it is foul play of the worst kind.
Same goes for the eye gouging. You actually see him apply pressure from his finger tips... which should never have been near a players face in the first place.
