The section at 0:42 doesn't really work on piano because on guitar, it uses a B power chord, and F# is in that chord, which is not in the key of A minor. On guitar, that note tends to hide behind the distortion and just strengthens the B, but here it really sticks out. Everything else sounds good, though. The beginning of the solo made me laugh though since it sounds like honky tonk blues heh.

@LightningStickmanBob Yes it does, it's just a little bit less noticeable because instead of taking the same chord shape and moving it up like you would on guitar, he just uses a different chord shape. Also, It changes by a minor third, not a step.

Great Stuff. Love the take on Murray and Smiths different soloing styles. For my final High School music performance exam I did "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" on bass, accompanied by a pianist. If I had this guy carrying me my sucking may have been less obvious.

Why does it matter how you classify it? If there's that much of a debate, it means the classifications were stupid anyway. Violins are bowed strings, guitars and harpsichords are plucked strings, pianos are hammered strings, drums are hammered membranes. Each has a different sound. What's the point of putting them into groups?
