5+2+1+0+6=14..1+4=5..2+6+0+7+8=23..2+3=5 so 5x5=25 and 2+5=7... ur answer doesn't add up to 7... ur answer is wrong!

The person used the correct Lattice Multiplication however he/she did not add correctly. The answer is 1358820268 not 1359820268

My sister learned this kind of math in the 4th grade. It totally screwed her up and she had to stay back! Her teacher

ok i don´t get it why do you have to do that and if you realy get an answer of 20+25=45 on that thing i prefer the 1+1 thing cool though :)

I rather...just use the classic "bar" and add the little zeroes...

You're not the only one. I was taught to just multiply in steps, which takes alot less time and you cab do more than one equation on a page.

well the bonus is that first you can focus on doing just multiplication and plot down the results, and then do all the addition in the next step.
Add that in the conventional way, it will be a lot more messy in my opinion, but both of course is real simple and works splendid.
And I just post it as educational, not to brag about this shit :)

Wow, that looks so unneccesarily complicated. Maybe I'm just saying that because I never learned it myself, but it sure seems to be taking a lot of time to do. And those two minutes are not even counting the drawing of the grid.
