I saw both the original version and the theater version and IMO the original ending was alot better. Basically what happened in the original was after the girl stabbed the guy she walked back upstairs, sat on the floor beside the bed and rocked back and forth all night. The next day the cops came in, found his body, walked upstairs then she finally stopped rocking and walked towards them holding the knife so the cops shot and killed her.

When Catholics pass a catholic church, we usually do the cross, it represents, the father, the son and the Holy Spirit and it represents our faith and we know and feel more protected.
