This is absolutely amazing! I never knew that the inexpensive recorder was capable of such tecnical feats or should I say I did'nt know that a player could get so much out of it. I have a new found respect for the recorder. And for those who dislike the soloist and his capabilities, they must be insane, I doubt if they even like the sun or water,or life for that matter.

I played the recorder during my childhood too. But I never could imagine than that it is possble to play such fast music as the bumble bees flight of Rimski-Korsakoff. awesome!

@weddinganejakopp Why not? It's a flute. Recorders tend to get a bad rap, because they are used to teach children music. Most people would be shocked to learn that most high quality Recorders can cost 500 U.S dollars, or even more! I love these simple little flutes. If played right, they can amaze. (except maybe cheep dollar store ones. Those are sloppily made and out of tune.)

@alexblue1231 you use the back note behind the recorder. if you leave some room (like... half with hole-half with finger covering up...) and blow a little harder you should get an octave higher note! :)
