Stock motor, transfer case and rebuilt tranny with an Scs drop box with 4 to 1 reduction and 5 ton military axles with 6.44 ratio and open diffs. Only has a 360 with 235 HP.

The dodge has 46rh tranny and has been built only once after many years of offroading, I have overheated it mud bogging and still keeps on going! There is one of the best transfer cases on the market in it, an SCS drop box and the stock 241HD, it has massive grunt and torque. More videos on vj5738 on YouTube on what it can do.

My dodge has 5 Ton axles and not 2.5 tons since those would break with my tires! I have seen big wide tires lose against thin tires too.

yes too much traction for its power rating...and the wider tires on the dodge actually allow more slip because the weight is distributed over a larger area they have less grip. same principal with snow, wider tires = less traction

Obviously many have not seen the tug of wars on trucks gone wild where even a monster truck lost against another truck with smaller tires! It must be the traction of the bigger tires still! My suspension was planted and my open diffs did perfect on around 250 stock horsepower thru two transfercases. Big mods sure! My competition is a good guy and nothing bad about his truck, it does great in the mud in which is what it was built for as well as mine too and car crushing. This was the first time

@Fadynich 250k on my cummins and the tranny is still goin strong. and yes its an auto. the trannys in the dodge arent bad trannys. its the owners who throw 200 extra horse at a stock tranny and wonder why they dont hold up. trust me fords have the same problems with the trans when you throw hp at em. its just the cummins makes power way cheaper so they always get hopped up and the trans is neglected
