Closed cell is got a great R value but the STC rating isn't anything special.

Not flexible, will pop off of wood walls. DOE recommends not using vapor barriers due to moisture problems. It also makes homes too tight requiring a heat exchanger or rigged up hvac system.

closed cell spray foam is the only way to insulate, with todays fuel prices it is worth the extra install price. fiber glass is a joke and a big lie...
