@canoetexas: caught a bunch of red-breasted sunfish and small bass (I think they were Guadalupe Bass), but nothing over 12". We had a lot of river to cover in a short period of time, so I didn't get to work the holes as much as I wanted to.
@stone985: driving time to the Llano from San Antonio is about 1.5 hours. This river is a real treasure. It's definitely worth the drive.
Awesome footage. Been to all the rivers out in West and central texas but not Llano Yet. I'll make sure to check this out. know Its right there by junction, but how much driving time ballpark from San Antonio, about hour half you think?. Going to bring my son this summer, is there camping available there near the river. Reminds me of Australia the way it looks, maybe its the music. Love the song!
your son has the feel of katyaking for sure. good job.
