  • BEST 3 MAN BAND OUT OF NEW ORLEANS < IVE EVER HEARD

  • Hugh Grant

  • I love the beginning, proof that it's from a VHS. LEZZGO 90s! XD

  • awesome!

  • Thanks, random faggot who disliked.

  • thank you so much for this awesome vid

  • Loved it then and I still love it now!

  • Love This Song.

  • AEKDB

  • Where can I get that Kevin Griffin "Playgirl" issue? :)

  • THIS SONG RULES AND MY NAME IS EZRA!!!!

  • If you're a Kappa Sig, you know what this song is about! A-B to all ya'll

  • One of the best songs ever, too bad they didn't hit more number 1's.

  • What a front man. I miss the 90s : (

  • This song simply ROCKS !!

  • When music meant something more than just money...

  • When VH1 still played music videos...LOL

  • shake it travis!

  • great live band seen them at least a dozen times////

  • This is a song I could listen to on repeat 24/7... This and Live's "Shit Towne" I can't say that about many songs.

  • A lot of bands write songs loooong before they actually release them. The Smashing Pumpkins had Mayonnaise that was actually written in 1988, but not released until 1993, however, they played it at shows long before 1993...

  • This song supposed to be about his frat experience at lsu but this song or any song is about what the listener wants it to be about. People said losing a loved one, mental instituions, drugs & people not understanding, even how vietnam vets were treated after the war makes sense with this song.

  • I've seen BTE many times - they ROCK!

  • i dont understand.... this band has pretty much all of it, so why aren't they that famous?

  • the 90's rock.. love this song.. miss this kind of song! songs nowadays screwed!,, \,,/ rock on..

  • i had such a fucking great night listening to this song on the lake with someone i just met at a skynnryd concert. traded earings and didint even know i was desparately wanting the one i was with.

  • wow nostalgic feeling washing over me...i had their cds omg good times and the best music go 90s

  • This concert actually aired in 1997, after Friction, Baby came out and Travis joined the band. They shared the hour with The Lemonheads and I still have it taped on VHS :)

  • lol he fucked up the words. Still a great song. one of my favs.

  • I remember this concert series. Look how cool this is. Remember when bands could be on TV just dressed like normal people? Now everything is so damn glammed up.

  • i love this song, i get so nostalgic listening to it and remembering what that felt like

  • sounds better than the record version

  • Does anyone have the album version? Please?!

  • Hazing at LSU...at least something good came out of it. This is a great song.

  • Beautiful song!!

  • BTE is one of the best of the generation...a truly impressive body of work with every album simply amazing.

I believe this song was originally released in '93 or '94

  • I love this band SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much.

  • This can't be from '95... this song was released '97. Check out Kevin's hair....LOL.

  • You fail , the song may have been released in 1997 BUT they had written it LONG before

  • Well I did catch that I was wrong because the release was in '96, but if this is '95 it was late late '95 because I know Tom had long hair back then. This song wasn't released before... or at least it's not on Surprise or the original Deluxe cassette. Anyway... no reason to debate this. I absolutely adore this band. They have been my favorite since they re-released Deluxe.

P.S... I LOVE Kevin's hair... lol. I remember a magazine asking him what hair products he used.

  • @sxylilrckstar they played it at concerts years before it was released on CASSETTE....LOL

  • @sethmusic Damn I thought I already posted that I was wrong. Way to go beating the dead horse. My God this was 5 months ago.

  • @sxylilrckstar i think you took something the wrong way.....i was commenting on how long its been since these guys came out....i have this album somewhere on cassette.....you're more than free to keep thinking that the world is picking on you.

  • @sxylilrckstar The song was realesed in '96, on King of New Orleans. Who says that bands can't play songs that have came out yet?

  • @curt470 sorry, Friction Baby was the Album, it has been 14 years after all.

  • @curt470 Gee.. I think 11 months ago I said I was wrong on the info and 5 months ago I reminded someone that I said I was wrong and today I will remind you again. This issue was already finished almost a year ago. Sorry you were so late.

And yes BTE usually plays upcoming songs at shows. I remember hearing them play Misunderstood at On The Bricks during the summer and the album wasn't released for another few months. They also would play Simple Song which didn't make it onto the Closer album.

  • @sxylilrckstar some artists play their songs in concerts before it is released on an album though

  • @sxylilrckstar Stone Temple Pilots played "Big Empty" at their MTV Unplugged show, 8 months before Purple came out.

  • 90s alternative at its BEST!! WHY OHHHH WHY CANT GROUPS TODAY BE ATLEAST 10% LIKE THIS!!!! 80S NEW WAVE AND 90S ALTERNATIVE OWNS ALL!

  • @ColorsBright I totally agree!
