  • The beginning reminds me of Alkan's concerto for solo piano third movement. Someone should seriously play this, it sounds amazing enough with MIDI playback

  • Interesting. Maybe you should try to put in more pianistic voicings? Like making it visually more accessible? There are a lot of places where you could use a few 8vas, and like even at the very beginning (the first chord for instance) could do with some proper stemming. The top C E A I'd probably take in the right hand, and the bottom AEA in the left, so it should be stemmed as such. Nice piece though :)

  • so much alkan inside here!

  • fantabulous!

  • Is that an Alkan reference I hear in there around 1:10?....

  • At 2:10 always makes me remind me William Tell, I dunno why. The Pianist who could play this should be Cziffra.

  • is this playable?

  • Well done - it has real merit. Amusing to realise from the comments that some people evidently believe that besides composing you were also playing it!

  • 0:01 alkan solo concerto

  • Keep up composing, i love your compositions!

  • Very good. And you have a very good music editor (at least seems much better than mine). Which one is it?

  • I don't know. This piece contains a lot of romantic music clichés, although it has some nice parts.

Personally, I prefer the experiments because of their uniqueness.

  • I am not an expert, but nice work!

  • 2:02 - 2:04 - It reminds me of Alkan in "Le Festin d'Esope" :P

  • 1:58 Winter Winds?

  • this might be preety but i wonder if you can even play the things you write

  • I liked it very much, but I believe that for such musical imagination the name of you sonata is somehow poor.

    Congratulations

  • You have personality, but I think you can still improve your style. Good anyway!

  • this is absolutely amazing

  • very good! :)

  • Lol I was just about to say that as well, Alkan would shit his pants if he heard this.

  • The fact is as a composer nobody writes this kind of music thats based on traditional harmony, and many notational mistakes .

  • Yes! Screw the experimental pieces. This is true class!

  • i like this a lot

  • Do you like Alkan?

  • wow!! that was amazing!

  • even for a midi sequenced song, this is pretty good composition wise!!

  • "I AM BORED: REVENGE OF THE BOREDOM"

  • this rox!! congratz! :)

  • i feel some alkan in there

  • I love the part starting at 2:10. :) Those little triplets are so fun.

  • The opener reminds me of some Chopin etudes. This piece is like someone took Chopin, Alkan, Ligeti, and Liszt and put them all in a blender. Nice work!

  • excellent !!! the song is great..

  • I liked it and its war atmosphere. Although its a difficult one I would like to try it. could you upload sheet or send me?:) thanks.

  • nice, rearranged a little bit it would deserve to be recognised by great piano players... but WTF at 0.55? that s the only thing i don t really like.... but that' s just my humble opinion....

  • @m4n4k1n changing my mind about that :)

  • no one could play this XXXD

    vn1!!

  • 1:58-2:10 Alkan's Le Festin D'Esope?

  • OMG -- I LOVE THIS O_O Parts of it actually made my jaw drop, for real -- 2:10, for example. What a great idea!

Adding to favs, "liking", and sharing with all mah friends :D

Thank you so much for posting ^_^

  • great great great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have to say your musics are awesome. you got a lot of imagination from listz , alkan , possibly too rachaminoff. 2:11 was just great, you got a great future further.

    Keep the good job :D

  • Damn! This is awesome.

  • LOL...That was terrible! But somehow also great. Thank you!

  • I think this is the best one within the three... Hamelin should really play all this!!!

  • Reminds me of Alkan.

    Nice piece.

  • Y U MAD THO?

  • Ok, i like this a lot. maybe I'll forgive your awful experiment pieces now. I give thisssss

    4 stars.

  • @MagicDolphinGO It's OK, everybody has the right to be critical

  • nice bordom

    mother of all necesary and....amuzing

you sertanly get exited now and then

    sturm und drag

    very

    very cool

  • Are there some hints of inspiration from Chopins winter wind etude op. 25 no. 11 in here? Or am I just imagining it?

  • You know what? I'm fourteen, and I am going to write something like this! Thanks gor the inspiration!

  • what program?

  • I'd like to see you play it

  • Oh man good thing i subscribe your channel, love the videos and just like people are saying sounds like alkan and for me, thats a marvelous thing, keep writing and the better you will get, this is a nice piano piece, good job.

  • btw why the fck did u put an exclamation after the word bored in ur description

  • lol this reminds me my first compositions

only mine were much more easier (I liked to play them myself)

  • I listened to that sonata... and I thought "wtf!"

Such a great composition played with that awful midi-sound...

Download (e.g.) "Fruity Loops" and a nice Piano-VST (e.g. Edirol Orchestral") and then import that midi-file into Fruity Loops... it will sound 100times better, like a real piano. - Bad sound quality of that MIDI-Programm but still 5/5...

  • This is really good.

  • Alkan would be proud. It looks possible, but I think you'd need a piano with an extended range to play this!

  • can u actaully play ur compositions

  • Nice job! I think it is unnecessarily difficult, but the melody is there, and good development.

as far as influences, sounds like Alkan's Concerto at the beginning, maybe then the posthumous Chopin prelude in Ab, then it morphs into something like Liszt' Galop.

  • It seems more like an orchestral transcription than a piano movement.

  • omg i wanna try and play this, can i have sheets?

  • yes. maybe you was bored, but congratulation, It's not too bad!

  • 2:10 - love the melody! sounds like Camille saint-saens!

  • 0:37 - 00:45 reminds my of my own F-minor etude (it's in my vids), though I've hever heard of your 'another' piece before! =)

  • The last 2 bars are similar to Liszt campenella 1st version ending!! xD

  • Damn I thought nobody was going to notice that lol

  • @tomekkobialka And the first bar has an eerie ressemblance to the Overture of Alkan.... Everything in life sounds like something else.

But I find your things very amusing... ;-)

  • @pianist7137 Lol

    reaved

  • Alkan concerto third movement. Pure inspiration I'm assuming.

  • 100% correct!

  • this looks playable. I want the sheets to this. This would be so fun to play

  • wow.. nice :)

How long did it took you to compose this piece?

  • are u a college major in music?

  • No way! To be perfectly honest, i'm actually only 13 years old. I just really like composing, and sometimes I make these compositions. I don't go to any music school.

  • You're only 13, your an ****ing genius!

  • OMG YOU'RE 13??

In that case you may need to change your age to 13 instead of what it says in your channel (24)

  • But I think that the Youtube server would explode with confusion seeing that a Youtube user has magically aged down 11 years.

  • You should do a complete sonata, that was really good!

  • It's great to see people of this modern day and age to be composing romantic/classical music such as this. IT MUST NOT DIE!

  • Actually it really is already dead. It has been dead since Stravinsky.

  • Comment removed

  • Alkan would be proud.

  • What program do you use to make these?

  • Finale Notepad 2009

  • Thx

  • Amazingggggg.

How do you come up with this stuff when you're "bored"..?

    Wow :p

  • Absolutely amazing! Im going to try and make this part of my repertoire! :)

  • I like this better than the first "bored" sonata. Lots of interesting figurations and a few Alkanesque passages.

  • Exactly! This is based around Alkan :p

  • very good ;)
