The beginning reminds me of Alkan's concerto for solo piano third movement. Someone should seriously play this, it sounds amazing enough with MIDI playback
Interesting. Maybe you should try to put in more pianistic voicings? Like making it visually more accessible? There are a lot of places where you could use a few 8vas, and like even at the very beginning (the first chord for instance) could do with some proper stemming. The top C E A I'd probably take in the right hand, and the bottom AEA in the left, so it should be stemmed as such. Nice piece though :)
Well done - it has real merit. Amusing to realise from the comments that some people evidently believe that besides composing you were also playing it!
The opener reminds me of some Chopin etudes. This piece is like someone took Chopin, Alkan, Ligeti, and Liszt and put them all in a blender. Nice work!
nice, rearranged a little bit it would deserve to be recognised by great piano players... but WTF at 0.55? that s the only thing i don t really like.... but that' s just my humble opinion....
i have to say your musics are awesome. you got a lot of imagination from listz , alkan , possibly too rachaminoff. 2:11 was just great, you got a great future further.
Oh man good thing i subscribe your channel, love the videos and just like people are saying sounds like alkan and for me, thats a marvelous thing, keep writing and the better you will get, this is a nice piano piece, good job.
Such a great composition played with that awful midi-sound...
Download (e.g.) "Fruity Loops" and a nice Piano-VST (e.g. Edirol Orchestral") and then import that midi-file into Fruity Loops... it will sound 100times better, like a real piano. - Bad sound quality of that MIDI-Programm but still 5/5...
Nice job! I think it is unnecessarily difficult, but the melody is there, and good development.
as far as influences, sounds like Alkan's Concerto at the beginning, maybe then the posthumous Chopin prelude in Ab, then it morphs into something like Liszt' Galop.
No way! To be perfectly honest, i'm actually only 13 years old. I just really like composing, and sometimes I make these compositions. I don't go to any music school.

At 2:10 always makes me remind me William Tell, I dunno why. The Pianist who could play this should be Cziffra.

Very good. And you have a very good music editor (at least seems much better than mine). Which one is it?

I don't know. This piece contains a lot of romantic music clichés, although it has some nice parts.
Personally, I prefer the experiments because of their uniqueness.

The fact is as a composer nobody writes this kind of music thats based on traditional harmony, and many notational mistakes .

Alkan would be proud. It looks possible, but I think you'd need a piano with an extended range to play this!

OMG YOU'RE 13??
In that case you may need to change your age to 13 instead of what it says in your channel (24)

But I think that the Youtube server would explode with confusion seeing that a Youtube user has magically aged down 11 years.
tomekkobialka 2 years ago
You should do a complete sonata, that was really good!

It's great to see people of this modern day and age to be composing romantic/classical music such as this. IT MUST NOT DIE!

Actually it really is already dead. It has been dead since Stravinsky.
