Sorry, the gameplay looks still, like 1970s cartoons the upper body is stiff while the legs jiggle along, and the style of the toons is horrid. Even the best of game play cannot make up for crappy graphics

come on! i so wanna make a bounty hunter, so bored of warcraft and this is the only game that will make me leave warcraft in a flash because if its from bioware u know its gonna fuckin rock, blizzard are a bunch of greedy amatuers compared to bioware and im sick of all the fantasy settings fairies and elves n all that crap i play a hunter in warcraft i like the playstyle so bounty hunter will suit me nicely, a ranged attacker with pistols and rifles and other cool stuff, awesome cant wait.

Bioware had banned a player for criticizing Dragon Age 2. Bioware reuses the same WoW/EQ-clone paradigm. One of the EA employees, the publisher, got fired for saying how the game sucks except for the storyline. Yup, they don't take criticism from anybody. Some highly known journalist or player(Which I don't really care) had said it sucks.

Is it just me or does the combat look utterly boring and kinda stiff? i mean imo what makes good combat/pvp is moveability, the ability to make your toon jump around to avoid shots or enemy hit and also cleaver tatics as in using the enviroment to kite/dodge or whatever you need.. This video shows 2 enemies that looks to be like 7meter apart ducking and shooting.. Not very heroic imo. but lets hope for the best

@Blnukem92 It's an own style, just like WoW has theirs.. It's called "Stylized Realism" rather than going for Photorealism, which frankly I personally am no fondue of.

ANd as for the slow paced combat, I agree in a sense, however you must remember this is the very -first- look at the gameplay of the game.. And if you search up the other videos of this game, you'll see that, that is not nessecarily the case.

For the most part, it's the player, not the game.

@Blnukem92 The running around, dodging the blastershots (Which you can do) is done by the player, and the players who played this, did not do so probably because the running+shooting mechanism and animation weren't ready yet.

And they would not want to release glitchy footage. ;)

If you run, shoot and all those things, the game will automaticly become far more fast-paced and fun.

You have to stand for some of the fun yourself, unless you want the spell-animations to run around for you aswell?

@stinnnnnn I intend to stick with EVE. And what I said was not nonsense, just facts. If this game was anything like the original KOTOR, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Instead, BioWare opted for a game that looks like Star Wars and WoW put together, only a more childish looking version.

KOTOR had a dark, gritty feeling to it, as any Star Wars game should have. Watching this game makes me feel like I walked into a Toys R Us after a massive costume and toy lightsaber / laser gun sale.

@TehPirateParty It might not be for you when the game is finished. Not everyone has to love this game. Having said that, I - and many, many others - think this game is pretty damn sweet considering it has yet to go into beta, and is a year away from release.

Graphics are always the last thing given a polish before release. I imagine it will look awesome when the game launches. Also, you'll notice that these videos have no background music. I am sure that will change at launch, as well.
