I am going to adopt my first horse from here even though its going to be a few years away yet ( already waited 18 years). im just disappointed that i have missed out on growing up around horses and being able to compete in fun shows and messing about with other horsey people when i was young and having my mum beside me cheering proudly. I will never get those years back and i spent them so painfully wishing, hoping. One day she will see me so happy and ask herself why she said no.

Sounds IDEAL!!!!! my goodness, what a brilliant charity. Horses do cost an awful lot to keep, and as a child, I had no knowledge of these ongoing costs like shoeing 6 weekly, regular worming/vaccinations, vet's fees, not to mention rental or purchase of land/stabling-to care for a horse well takes lots of money, time and commitment..but it is a wonderful thing to have a horse..would love to have another one day!
