  • Joe Bonamassa + Leslie West with a little Greg Allman for good measure = beyond erotic

  • I hear it too :)

  • Fuck me. Guitar cries, can you hear it God I can!

  • can someone link me to a tab of the solo at 3:10? do want learn.

  • I think the Leslie West version is way better. His voice just has so much passion. I still fuckin love Bonamassa though. they both encompass the true spirit of blues like no one else today...BLUES FOR LIFE

  • Masterpiece!

  • OK, guys: 1st verse: Joe Bonamassa; 2nd verse Leslie West.

  • if heartaches were nickels, i'd be bill gates

  • is there also Gregg Allman??

  • @terzolilu yes, It's Joe Bonmassa first, Leslie West second, and Gregg third.

  • @terzolilu yes, It's Joe Bonmassa first, Leslie West second, and Gregg third.

  • If i could just find a backing track of this to play..

  • well... I really don't know why people doubt... it says clearly: Leslie West : ))

  • This is definitely Leslie West, not Joe Bonamassa.

  • Leslie adds rawness to this version. In a good way.

  • Wicked Cool song!

  • I'm pretty sure this is Bonamassa...not Leslie West....

  • "Leslie West and Joe Bonamassa recorded Warren Haynes' "If Heartaches Were Nickels" together. West released it on Guitarded (2005), and Bonamassa on A New Day Yesterday (2000)."

  • I'm sorry...BUT:

In this version both of them are playing!

The main solo is JB's, accompanied by Leslie West!

  • da great fatsbee..such a killer song...

    Thanks for sharing it...

    davido

  • A Warren Hayes song

  • Not a fan of Bonamassa, but this song is too good to not listen to.

  • i love this and its the first time I'm listening to it!wicked!

  • Must have tab for this purely amazing song, but non exist :(

  • Typical 12 bars in Key of A. This version is played on tuned down 1/2 step. Am dm Am dm dm Am g# g f# f e

  • It is Joe singing the first verse, then Leslie. They also share leads. And that's Greg Allman on keyboards and sings a little around 2:45 and 7:20 into the song. My best friend talked to Joe about this version at the Fargo Blues Festival last year. Joe smiled and said Leslie released his recording first (for GUITARDED) and Joe released a somewhat milder version on a later album of his own. Joe was said it was OK for Leslie to do; he was paying him respect.

  • LESLIE WEST is incomparable he's the real MASTER

  • it's Joe B and Leslie West for your info

  • The recording is Joe Bonamassa. What's going on here?

  • No lopez you are incorrect. This is Leslie West. The 2 often get confused fora reason Ive yet to figure.

Far better guitar than Joe B. It's not even close.

  • So is Leslie a guest musician on JB's album or something, cause this is the exact recording on the cd I've got.

  • this would be sick to see live

  • when you plan to see it live.... call me :) )))) wanna feel and hear this.....

  • @rainbowrandolph91 ya think?

  • first time i've heard him

    amazing vocals (better than JB)

great guitar (not as good as JB, but damned good)

  • Yes, there are bouth of them. First sings Joe, than sings Leslie. Bouth are great, I like Leslie very much and Mountain. Peace brother. But solo is Joe most of the time. Btw you can see me on you tube, search for 'HEY JOE JOKER ', and maybe I know a little...

  • This is Joe Bonamassa guys, sorry!

  • Oh my God. NO. This is Leslie West. Not Joe.

I have the CD. And,, I know things :)

    Its Leslie West.

  • jajajjaja ... next to this song, I love his version of "the thrill is gone", I think it is on the "get bloose", with such a blooooesy sound.

  • ...yep... Leslie is COMPLETELY GUITARDED.

    And that's a good thing.

Voice. Axe skills. of the GODS.

  • Leslie is one of the greatest guitar players ever. I love his sound since Woodstock (Mountain) and he is still up to date and the most inovative guy, in my opinion. The guitar solo in this song is incredible. Terrific!!!!!
