But since they arent changing that, they should have a different character for those who already have TBC so maybe a new locust (like the original Maurader)

Well I understand that but it was originally supposed to be an exclusive for those who had played the beta so those who got him through the beta (such as myself) feel a bit cheated. I wouldnt really mind if they had a replacement character for those who had the TBC originally but they dont which sucks. Just like those who bought the 1st DLC for gears 3, a dlc which had the maps free was released which sucked and again made us feel cheated.
