one headlight is the low beam and one is the highbeam..when the high beam is on both headlights are on..low beam just one is on..i have a 08 R6 and i got pulled over because the cop thought i had a headlight out so now i just ride with my highbeam on

HAHAHA!!! omg this loser, his bike is going to run like shit, you cant free rev a new engine like that, it allows oil to pass by the cylinder, really fucks up your engine. I put 600 miles on my 2008 r6 before i revved it up and i guarantee if i raced this guy i would kill him, and my engines going to last longer.

eh.. beginner can start with a 600, I did.. it matters how fast you want to learn, if you push it too much you'll end up dead.. if not, you'll master an awesome bike

because I want to buy that bike when I'm 21 (i'm now 19).

Lots of my friends say I wouldn't be able to handle the bike, but I've already driven 250CC bike and I still drive my scooter every 2 days, so i think i could handle it, not? :)

I'm also very cautious in the beginning :p

you have to not just be cautious in the beginning, you ALWAYS have to be cautious. When you start learning the bikes dimensions and sounds then dont use that as an excuse to get yourself killed, always keep your focus and i promise your friends will be shovin it. invest in frame sliders though just in case.

I'll keep that in mind, I will never take unnecessary risks. And believe me, if I buy that bike, I don't want to ruin it on my first day :D

And about the frame sliders, that might be a good investment in the beginning :)

I thought there was no more red on the 2008 black R6 and that it was gold and I also thought they had the logos in white on the bottom of the bike. At least that's what an employee of the company told me, maybe theres more then one idk.

are you sure 110km/h in first gear ? my z750 does 115 in first and it takes only 12 000 rpm , r6 takes 16 500 so ...

i got the same bike! but ive highsided the sucker in some gravel left by the council (priks).. im racing it as soon as my broken left arm is all sweet.. they nuts man!
