Nice elevator(s). The fixtures were kind of cheap and the bell kept ringing. I liked the voice and of course the smoothness of Otis Gen2 elevators.

Not really, I saw a video of a OTIS elevator in Lausanne, Switzerland. The buttons looks similar to this one, only that one is much smaller.

Massachusetts also Has Otis GEN2 traction elevators at South Shore Hospital Parking Deck and it has equal floors just like that parking except the floor numbering is different numbering.

I wish asheville, nc had otis gen2 elevators in some of their buildings. I know Mission Hospitals just built a new portion that is the new ICU/ surgery building that has OTIS elevators manufactured in 2008/2009 I just wonder if they are gen2s. Since they say its a GREEN building. Dieselducy, you need to come to asheville to film the elevators when u get a chance. :)

These are a combo of Series 1 indicator chimes and call recognition, Series 1 and Series 5 vandal resistant buttons, and Series 5 up/down chimes and outside indicators.

If the garage with the defective elevator were to modernize their elevator, they should consider going with a Gen2 or Synergy elevator. Preferably Gen2.
