Too Many riffs- destroys the Nat. Anthem. Played Straight is good enough....

Way too many completely unnecessary instrumentations. It's like when mediocre singers use way too much vibrato and casual people go "IT SOUNDS COMPLICATED THEREFORE MUST BE GOOD".

great tone and sound, but it got choppy at the end and there were some intonation problems with the beginnings of his attacks.

You can find music for the National Anthem anywhere, the different versions stem from just playing with it and listening to other musicians and find what you like and what you can perform well depending on your ability. Its not about how fancy or how high you can play, its about playing well and commanding reverence for our country and God.

Very nice performance. It's not a high G though, it's a high F. He's playing this in Concert Ab. Still props to him for nailing it in a high stress environment.

High G >.< Its confusing with the octaves so in a sense it is a "double G", but most people and teachers and professionals i've talked to recognize the first of the doubles to be the A above high C. Not bashing, the guy sound amazing haha

I'm not a trumpet player (I'm a baritone player), but I know it's hard as f**k to hit the G above the G above the staff (super G....? Triple G....? Idk)! It's hard for me to hit the Triple Bb (trumpet players' double C above the staff). I can go up to a Triple D (trumpet players' double E above the staff) on a good day. Great version of Star Spangled Banner on Trumpet!!! :-)

Its just the individual who posted this should have included in the information that this particular version is not his own. It is Jesse McGuire's. If you would like to hear me play.
