  • How long have you been practicing to be such a great artist? I am really eager to learn. Can you tell me? Please?

  • I am not a great artist myself but I am still drawing and getting better and better each day.

My secret is drawing everyday yes everyday, it is like exercise if you want to be healthy you have to find time to exercise each day. Make sure you keep all your drawing starting from day 1 then you will see the difference after six months compare your artworks if there's no difference drawing is simply not for you, but if there's a massive change go to ArtSchool and continue your dream

  • i did mickey mouse on the lips ^_^

  • very nice pro render :>

  • you really shouldnt create shading and highlights with an eraser if you can help it, because learning how to actually shade is a lot more rewarding than just using the fast, lazy way.

  • the girl is a mix between taylor swift and demi lovato! :D

  • Expressyourmess I bet u can't draw like this sooooo stop being jelious

  • so many times i said to myself "wow this looks great" and then you do the next step and i say "wow this is great!"

  • Can we draw so cool like that with a pencil?

  • do you use smudging?

  • O.o ... hard

  • shes kinda hot...lol

  • How do you decide where you want the top half to be? I always note that you make the lines go off the page...How do you visualize it in your head? I'm very new to drawing but I (not to pat my own back) know I have potential I just really need help reaching it.

  • wow ur amazing!

  • This was amazing! Really helpful!!

  • I noticed this in there, and have this very problem when I draw...NO GUIDELINES. I know it's difficult to not use it, but learn, 'cause those lines always leave very slight marks in the finishing touches.

  • Can you please tell me what pencils you used for this?

i would really appreciate it. :)

  • how do you actually blend? I mean what do you use (and how) ? Do a tutorial for your technique please :D

  • You can use almost anything!

I reccomend blending sticks ( some people call them tortillions, or somethign like that)

they're basically thees thin pencil-like sticks made from pressed paper

    or you can use Q-tips

  • @B1ackID for really good and fast blending do what i do and use you fingers or if you need more delicate blending to small areas use a cotton bud.

  • so amazing iwil try it

  • Very nice

  • WOOOOW

  • i am so jealous at you! You are amazing <3 Keep up the wonderful drawing you do !

Haha I truly need classes Shading is my worst friend...Could I ask you..Did you take classes? And if so how long did it take? And last but not least...Is it worth it? The prices I mean are O_O <-- yep...I'm sorry if you've answered this i looked in your youtube and deviant..:) Anyways

    SUSCRIBED! =D !

  • wonderfullllllllll .....

  • Where can I get graphite?

  • Wow, O_O i se how you do it now lol o= thats frggn awesome :D i watch u on dA :P same name xD

  • This is amazing =) This will help me in the future!!

  • do yu not use a reference? :O

  • AMAZING!!! pelase make MORE!!

  • Can you please tell us how to erase charcoal? I can't erase it, and I'm on the verge of tears...

  • i dont use charcoal, i use graphite

  • Oh...darn. Where do you buy graphite?

  • You can buy it just about anyplace you can buy charcoal. It looks kinda the same--rectangular sticks of plain black material--but a bit shinier and less dusty.

  • how do you get so dark with graphite? do you darken it with photoshop?

if I use a 9B pencil it is still too light, even if I press it hard, because it reflects a lot. so sometimes I use charcoal for black areas, but I cant blend charcoal with graphite... or is there a way? :)

  • @isaiahs

    Great job man!

What graphite? HB?2B?6B?same pencil for the whole drawing?

  • You can try a kneaded eraser. :D And if it doesn't work, idk. haha

  • @RougeRoks Some charcoal comes with a gummy eraser, or there's other pencil erasers that work for me. I have one called the "Moo" eraser, and it's nice with charcoal too

  • @RougeRoks You might want to use a piece of white charcoal. That tends to help out.

  • @RougeRoks One word........."wow". Get a digital tablet for your pc and get a good drawing program, then erase all you want. ;)

  • @RougeRoks you need to use some kind of soft gum i dnt know how u cal it in english in dutch we call it kneedgom

  • @RougeRoks theres an eraser for charcoal though. i forget what its called

  • @RougeRoks Um...tears? Sorry, just wondering.

  • @RougeRoks there are like mold-able erasers that are spefically for charcoal

  • @RougeRoks i know how to erase charcoal,

You have to use a kneaded rubber eraser, and you just kinda dab it on the charcoal and it will slowly come off.

  • Make Some other PLZ PLZ PLZ !!!

  • this is amazing and very helpful! thank you.

    end piece is stunning.

  • Thank you so much! Nice tutorial, easy to follow and... the picture is great.

There's just one thing I would like to understand: do you blend digitally or traditionally?

  • Great tut, but what song is that? I love it.

  • the song is called Money, Success, Fame, Glamour (no lie) you can find it on imeem pretty easily

  • You are AWE-some! \o/

  • Totally awesome and easy enough to falow.
