  • the one dislike is hilarious

  • 1 person is stupid.

  • He was heavily influenced by Miles Davis and John Coltrane. I would have loved to hear his jazz fused rock had He lived longer.

  • @brownsmiley1 listen to third stone from the sun, thats a good example of jimi's jazz influence.

  • @brownsmiley1

Similarly, Miles Davis was heavily influenced by Hendrix as well!

  • @brownsmiley1 Funny thing, Mitch Mitchell was heavily influenced by John Coltranes drummer Elvin Jones.

  • this is a SONG!

  • @MrBigman001 He means it's not in your face hamonica its kinda like jazz

  • I love rock instrumental and much more if the Master Hendrix is playing!!!!

  • This is a truncated version of this tune. It's been edited and is not complete.

  • The master of guitar.. pray to him every night.

  • So,...that's where Paul Shaffer got the the theme song for 'Late Night with David Letterman' from.....

Great Hendrix tune, never heard it before. Thanks joelizer.

  • the visual is fucking sick

  • Very different. Love it. Nothing like anything I have heard by Jimi. Almost sounds like Mahavishnu.

  • @GetchaPull46 He mistakenly hit it,but I think he was really trying to hit the 'buy now' button.

  • yeh theres a way to download it, go to cnet, and go to downloads and type in mp3rocket after you've clivked on downloads and you can download free videos from youtube, great shiznet

  • the nine to universe album isnt on itunes is there any other way to download this song i would really appreciate the help

  • Que coisa mais tesuda *-*

  • i dislike the notes that are not being played. They don't give my mind the encapsulation that one ought to feel. I\m a little trapped by the unsyncopated exactness on the offbeats. The language of this communication is washing in sea but not through clouds, water and music is lifted in this one but to what end?

  • @onebenp I think you are having a stroke

  • check this out

bigozine2 DOT COME WITHOUT THE "E" SLASH cdcvrs SLASH JHatm DOT html

  • @mjimih didnt work

  • Gotta give some props to Larry Lee for holding his own on rhythm guitar.

  • un-fucking real! Jimi's definitely the guitar-god. Listening to this then "Pali Gap" is like an acid trip without the oatmeal head feeling the next morning.

  • Always, Jimi at his best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep

What a video I feel Dizzyyyyyyyyyyy.

  • I have a woodstock video and this song is what plays during the credits. never knew what it was. great post.

  • Wow, I was pretty sure i wasn't high when i started listening to this song...

  • Thank you a billion times for posting this!!! This is a GREAT jam - my favorite cut from this record. BTW, who is the nimrod that gave this tune a "dislike"? No excuse - he or she needs to find a different planet to live on! There are faster, more technical, louder and harder players out there, but none will ever be more soulful and better than Jimi Hendrix!!

  • 4:20

  • When jimi plays its like hes plucking the strings in my brain.

  • i have looking for this jam for a very long time!!!!!!!!!! it was at the end of Woodstock with a different version of izabella, but i couldn't find this...

  • Another Mystic Jimi hendrix experience

  • That BG visual puts me into the song... It may just be The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

  • LSD + JH = Awesome.

  • so hypnotic and chilling whoa man wtf

  • inhale and relax

  • awesome! clearly, some peeps are not aware of the range that Hendrix had.

  • 1 godamn fool thought the button said "dis I like".

  • @The4thGuy Do you really take pleasure in stealing peoples jokes? come on

  • is this window media player on xp with a filter on it!?!?!

  • One of my favorite jimi songs....just great.

  • It doesn't seems like hendrix; even though it's sound is similar, hendrix was way more creative and inspired when playing first guitar...

  • @buscasquebuscas This is Hendrix. It was on the Nine to the Universe album released in 1980. recorded 6/25/69, w/Mitch Mitchell, Billy Cox and Larry Lee on 2nd guitar.

  • @gatorcarter

    Brilliant deduction !!

  • @buscasquebuscas

"even though it's sound is similar, hendrix was way more creative and inspired when playing first guitar..."? Retard, this is regarded as a classical Hendrix album. Well known to all. Where have you been, Slick, all these years?? What do you mean by : "Hendrix was way more creative and inspired when playing first guitar..." ?? When playing first guitar?? Look DUMBSHIT,----LEARN, LISTEN, RESEARCH about Rock and Roll ---then comment,, retard. YOU KNOW NOTHING about Hendrix.

  • @janedoe1024 cool down rock genius, it was just a comment

  • @janedoe1024 What's up with the sarcasm? My comment was directed @ buscasquebuscas who was unsure of whether this was Hendrix. Who the hell are you?

  • @janedoe1024 Why are you being rude to people?

  • @janedoe1024 you, you gotta chill out dude.

  • Sound like jazz

  • The BIG problem in the world today is monetary policies. Get rid of the Federal Reserve, then we'll enter an era of prosperity.

Thanks for the upload, so sweet sound :)

  • this is sick

  • It's a shame this isn't going to be on the West Coast Seattle Boy compilation. Hopefully the Hendrix family will rerelease it sometime.

  • sigh* if only he was still alive... maybe his soul will be reincarnated into someone else someday

  • @cyrusjerome I really hope it's me!!!

  • 'nine to the universe', the album this recording is taken from, shows more of his talent than any other album in my opinion,

    shame its posthumous session recordings.

  • Acid trip man Nuff Said

  • Don't you just love Jimi's Univibe era?

  • @Below,please take all that to your YouTube e-mail,talk about music here, great tune thanks for the post Joelizer. All hail the Jimi Hendrix Posters, you've greatly improved my timing in surfing, driving, and swishing through traffic on my motorcycle. No guitarist here, strictly action sports. However, this is how Mr.Hendrix's music relates to my life.

  • Fuck, I used to have this on vinyl.

  • Late night blues I call this.

  • @RastafariPoet Nice!

  • c'est mieux que de la musique c'est du rève!!!!!!!!

  • dancing smoke water lemonade / cloudy so god damn satisfying man :D jimi FTW

  • what a wonderful musicain. what a talent. so sad that this man died. just because of the capitalsimn. hmmm... so sad.

  • @danielsch13011984 HUH!?!? Capitalism?!?! How the hell you say capitalism killed Hendrix? That's like saying eating fresh organic vegetables everyday can give you heart disease... Capitalism didnt kill Hendrix! It was the GREED of the people that managed him... WTF you talking about?

  • @bigstU25 you could definitely argue that capitalism fuels greed, because it simply does. Not that it directly led to his death or anything, but I can see it as a contributing factor.

In any case, at least he left us with gems like this. Hendrix is beyond amazing.

  • @SkateFL52 Of Course it does. But if properly regulated, Capitalism is the Best system for making money and feeding the poor that the world has ever seen. That is a proven fact..

  • @bigstU25 You can say that Communism killed Hendrix too for the fact that his manager wanted to dictate to him how to live. That was killing Hendrix's creativity/soul. But we both have a point.

  • @bigstU25

    Oh...that's rich,,

yes... it's truly a precious idea,,,

you say "if properly regulated", ehhh? ..well, that's the real Trick isn't it!?

Yes,,good luck with "Proper" regulation of "IMPROPER" people, organizations and their wildly self-centered (and often brutal)ambitions.

face this proven factoid: human history is nothing to write home about..all empires eventually fall..not some

so.... your "proven fact" truly only exists Hypothetically..we have yet to see "properly regulated"

  • @novaflo339 Capitalism has been working since the days of Plato, what are you talking about?? What system do you know that makes more money than Capitalism? W/o money how do you expect to feed the masses? Come on, man! What system do you propose that would work better than Capitalism? And im not talking about Empires, i'm talkinng about systems of governing.

  • @bigstU25 u are correct, however we just want a fairer system! ;-)

  • @JJMetalMad999 We would have a fairer system if the people in power would use the capitalistic/indirect-democracy system we have here in america properly and repect the constitution. That is the problem w/ America.

  • @bigstU25 I agree, there are a lot of powerfully rich ppl abusing the system. Its these dogs that need to be hunted down and examples made of them! lol

  • this is the bass line to Killer Joe

  • what a trip this song is, if you have anything more with this type of feeling, please post!!

  • You can find it on the Nine to The Universe album. One of his greats that many of the people putting albums together just overlook for some reason.

  • @Ldar0001 Not me dude.......this is the goods, after everybody's done takin from him year after year, this is what you have, and there's nothing that can touch it.....OR him!
