There is a sequel to this game called white gold of something like that but they wont bring it out in this country.And i don't know why this game is awesome.

@rchrdbgi8 Yes you're quite right but there is now an English release of White Gold available on the GamersGate website which is the version I bought. Unfortunately though the translation isn't too good and the sound is messed up (you have to download the sound files somewhere else). A better alternative is to buy it from the Russian site Yuplay and then apply a fan made patch including translation that's available. Great game. Definitely worth getting.

is it true that the game has never been finished? at some point the misions just ended and you also could by the plans for a house, but you couldnt use them (there's a flat area in the left corner of the map where nothing was, no trees nothing only a flat area

I liked the game, maybe even loved it for awhile (played it in august - september last year i think)..

The thing that made me uninstall it was the bad sound that was ridden with bugs and stuttering and really got on my nerves. Too bad because once you really get into this game its very nice.

This game actually has better faction relations, because if you're on good terms with a faction's soldiers, they won't shoot you on sight (unlike almost EVERYONE in FC2).

You can upgrade your weapons quite a lot in this game. They don't blow up--they just jam a bit which you can clear just by pulling the trigger again. The missions aren't quite as repetitive--you can eavesdrop, take pictures, or even plant drugs on someone for a mission. You can buy and repair cars easily too.

I didn't like Far Cry 2 that much but it was good for killing time.

The civilian AI is bad, but the enemy soldier AI is actually fairly decent. If you don't watch your surroundings you could be quickly outflanked and killed.

Technically, this game features quite a few bits at release (such as the faction reputation system and working vehicles) that the much more popular STALKER series didn't have at the start. If you want to learn more about this hidden gem of a game, send me a personal message.

Yes but this game loaded a 450 square km Map in a single load much faster than FarCry and with the right tweaks runs in a 256 Mb Ram PC WITH 64 MB video RAM and circa 30 fps

What the hell is the big fat slanted handle on the top of the Combat Rifle for?! It never made sense to me why it was there.

I've tried checking out the various upgrades available to the combat, assault, and infantry rifles, and sadly the combat rifle is the worst though cheapest when maximally upgraded. Too bad.

The RPG system in this game was great though. Your weight limit would actually increase if you carried heavy loads for some time, for instance. Very useful feature.

I think the slanted handle on top of the Combat Rifle is used to carry the gun like a briefcase, in case someone doesn't want to carry the rifle in both their hands.

Cause if it can swing like a briefcase, than it's likely it could obstruct the view of the sights.

And it still doesn't change the fact that it has the worst stats, except for price, of all the rifles in the game.

When you complete the main quest the game comes to an end unfortunately. It would have been better if you could carry on like in Oblivion for example. I normally delay finishing the main quest for quite a while.

It's been a while since I played Boiling Point so I can't remember what the trade bug was. All I can say is that the vast majority of bugs are gone when you are using the second patch.
