There is another tune (old one, from the 1960's or 70's) playing in the background of one of those old videos about Persepolis. It's an orchestra with many woodwind instruments reminding of the mighty Persian Empire. Some radio stations use that tune as a symbol for the Pahlavi Dynasty. I just love that song and I get Goose bumps when hearing it. Do you know which one I'm talking about?
Oh... I wish I had more info about that clip, but it was displayed on some kind of "kaveh ahangar" webpage a couple of years ago. It's a very short clip (about 1m40-2m00) and nobody is talking or singing, it's just an orchestra playing that tune, and some shots of Persepolis and the Persian Empire on a map.

although I wish that Iran gets a monarchy again, most people in Iran want a democratic Republic, they want something not related to the past. The Pahlavis cannot overthrow the fascist regime in Theran, only Iranians from within can, and if the the military supports the dissident elements, the eslamic fascist regime will implode, giving birth to a new progressive regime. 1) It made Iran famous in the world.
2) Foreign investors in Iran.
3) Entertainment for the country.
4) Communication with the others countries.

But the amount spent (I looked up the number from several articles), is extremely dramatic to a bizarre extent, and that much money spent (with respect to international prestige) would definitely make anyone revolt. We got the money back again in the mean time as Iran developed and more and more foreign investors came to Iran along with many other things. We already had enough money for everything else. While we have many Iranians with darker skin, black hair, etc. which are characteristic of Arabs, we also have many people with much fairer skin, lighter hair, and lighter eye color. There are many documents that provide evidence in research; such as: History of Iran, Iran from Persia to Islam, Encyclopedia, Wikipedia, etc.
About the minorities in iran; yes you have 35% Azeries who haven't been invaded by arabs (due to geographical category) & look totally different to Fars/Arabs.

But one of his few good moves had been the 2500 years of imperial Iran celebration because it had improved our image in the world! There is another tune (old one, from the 1960's or 70's) playing in the background of one of those old videos about Persepolis. It's an orchestra with many woodwind instruments reminding of the mighty Persian Empire. Some radio stations use that tune as a symbol for the Pahlavi Dynasty. I just love that song and I get Goose bumps when hearing it. Do you know which one I'm talking about?

Oh... I wish I had more info about that clip, but it was displayed on some kind of "kaveh ahangar" webpage a couple of years ago. It's a very short clip (about 1m40-2m00) and nobody is talking or singing, it's just an orchestra playing that tune, and some shots of Persepolis and the Persian Empire on a map.
