I've read HOOT and I really like it. Carl Hiaasen is a wonderful author but why did he write the book Team Rodent How Disney devours the World. Why does he hate Disney World and why does he want to be banned from there if he's never been?
He has been to Disney...he says so in the book itself. If you haven't read Team Rodent, it's worth a read. It's a hilarious and informative book written very much in his style.
I was working at Putnams when Tourist Season came out. You should have heard the laughter coming from the editorial department! He's no P.G. Wodehouse, but he is very funny.
Just finished "Skinny Dip" and I loved it. The only thing about CH is that he's left-wing on many topics. Still, I love his writing style and humor. I only have 2 novels left to read: Strip Tease & Nature Girl.
damn, !! i can't find anywhere where it tells the whole story in very short frorm. I have a book report due tomorrow, and there's no way ill finish. Btw, the book Flush :P im only on pags 102-103 :(
carl hiaasen is great. sick puppy and native tongue in particular are bloody hilarious. nice to actually see and hear him speak. cheers for posting this up.
I have read and love every Carl Hiaasen book. He is brilliant.

Stormy weather is one of the most funniest book I've ever read.
