I agree with how gentle and loving she was. I do however disagree with many, including nurses in some of these videos on whether to wash the hair first or last. I have my personal experience and many videos that demonstrate the reason to wash the hair last. The baby's lose their body heat through their head and therefore I wash their hair last. Other than that this is one of the best videos I have seen. She is a very sweet and gentle person. Refreshing in this day and age.

You need to bath her/him everyday, 2 days aftr birth is ok to bath her every day.

No, you can give a bath 12 hours after childbirth.

The clinic gave us a medical spirit to cleanse the areas where the umbilical cord attaches to the navel.

It is perfectly fine to bathe the baby right after you bring him home.

The nurses do a pretty good job cleaning the baby while he is in the hospital.

There's still an umbilical cord that hasn't fallen off.. It shouldn't be soaked with water until its still there.

That was actually a nanny I hired to help out my wife and I in the first month of having Luther.

In Singapore we call her a confinement lady. I am not sure if this is practiced in our parts of the world.

the bruising on his butt and back, is taht from him sitting for too long? once my son and I drove to another state and he slept for a while and when i took him out he had some bruising from where his blood wasnt circclating I felt so bad, but his doctor said it happens all the time. you have a beautiful baby boy by the way

Almost all babies I have seen have that color on their back. Eventually, it fades away.

Those are his birthmarks. They are still there now that Luther is 11 months old. I dun think swimming is gonna be one of his fav sports... heh...

i just saw a video on how to bathe a baby from expert village and this video was way better the other video was one minute long and even though she explained it it didnt come out as good as your video this has helpet me ALOT and know i have no troublebathing my 1 week old baby brother!!!! thanks!!!

We bathed him the very next day we brought him home from the hospital.

We bathe the baby everyday actually. Some of my colleagues don't do that.

Really a preference.
