@kardzfn21 The Cardinals had Harry Caray for 25 years. I grew listening to him in the 50's and was watching him do a t.v. broadcast of a Cardinals game when he learned through the grapevine that he was being fired.

We may never see the likes of him again...a great player, a great human being. No one who played with him or against him, no manager nor any umpire ever had anything negative to say about him.

Musial was terrific. And I've never even liked the Cardinals. But he is also proof that becoming a real homerun hitter has as much to do with getting into your late twenties and filling out some as it does with doing some of the things folks have done recently.

Look at his stats, and just be patient and be glad to get a bit older.
