okay so i'm guessing that this was taken from either an unlabled promo pressing or maybe some old analogue tape from someone's collection... it's so strange that it's on about three marilyn monroe compilations but even when she was young; marilyn didn't sound like this at all.... i have to assume that this wasn't sourced from any official studio masters as this is sandra dee's version but it's foggy and slightly pitched up like a tape or record running at the wrong speed... so strange... :/

This is NOT Marilyn Monroe singing. Sorry, I don't care what anyone says, it just plain out isn't Marilyn. She never recorded this song. This track was taken by mistake and placed in a CD compilation of Marilyn and the mistake lingers on to this day. It's a breathy female vocalist with a voice not unlike Marilyn's but it is not Marilyn.

@badaboom92life Thanks to you and others for knowing it was Sandra Dee. Knew immediately it wasn't Marilyn but could not figure out who was singing even though she sounded familiar. Now, Sandra Dee just JUMPS out when I listen. Sad that she has gone so young.. sad about them both.
